Terrorist found not guilty

No, this isn't opinion. You we're wrong and seem to be basking in the glory of your wrongness while being completely ignorant that you were wrong in the first place.

1. You stated Bush never said it was clintons fault.

2. You stated that Bush blamed clinton.

Those are your words, not my opinion dude.

I know you can't get past that partisan divide in your head and your just constantly thinking that liberals are the scourge of the earth, but when you contract yourself like that only a few posts later, and then don't even realize that you did it and still won't admit to it after it's pointed out, only to try to change the subject (and poorly executed by the way) you really have to consider that maybe you didn't put as much thought into your argument that you thought you did.

I don't pretend to know whether you'll complain about Obama after he's gone, but that had nothing to do with what you or I were saying in the first place. There is no difference between the bush haters and yourself except that you're more than willing to point out their hypocrisy and put blinders on in order to ignore your own.

You are obliviating as usual dude. You will never get it.

If a cop arrested you and sent you to court on numerous charges but you were only convicted of one and got sentenced twenty years in jail for it would you be laughing all the way to jail about how you were found not guilty.

If the other 285 charges were murder, and knowing that I could be out in as little as 7years? hell yes I'd be laughing.

It's like a delusion. A terrorist is convicted and found guilty on something that could him twenty to life in prison and then we actually have a thread titled "terrorist found not guilty" and blaming Obama that only one charge stuck. It'd be funny if it weren't so sad.

No, this was Obama's big plan to show the world that America could try these guy's in civilian courts to show the world how fair we are, remember? Guess what, he failed...Big surprize.

Are you a communist sir?
You're in Deep Space, are you a Space Cadet?

I'd question someone's sanity if they laughed all the way to jail on a 20 year sentence. That person would have to mentally unstable, period.

Only in the world of someone that has Obama Derangement Syndrome is a conviction a failure. I could only imagine how the conservatives around here would be acting if Bush had just convicted a terrorist on only 1 of 285 counts and the liberals started a thread declaring him a failure. There would be whining for days on end.

They would probably be laughing if they had already confessed to crimes worthy of 50 life sentences.

This would of never happen.

You are comparing apples and oranges, even if Obama is very unhappy with the result... he gave Holder to ok to get him tried in a civilian court, so Obama is responsible for this failure.
What is going to go wrong next??? I am waiting.

What's the penalty for the egregious abuse of the English language while being wrong?

Oh god, Obama isn't applying a double-standard....HE'S SUCK A F**KING A**HOLE right?

The person responsible for this "failure," by which i assume you mean the guilty verdict, is the person who caused the evidence to become inadmissable. Be it Bush, Cheney, or whoever gave the clearance to waterboard/torture the guy is responsible. Unless you wanna tell me that Obama was the one who gave that order...but I wouldn't put it past you

He. Was. Not. Tortured.

Because. You. Say. So. :)

No. Because there's no evidence of it. And repeating it as though it's fact is slander.

If he was tortured, when did it happen and what was done to him?

We live in an age where some partisans are not interested in truth or justice, they're only interested in attacking their political opponents, no matter whether it hurts America, its justice system, whatever. **** 'em.

Your cuote describes your San Francosco's point of view to a tee. :lamo

Now I know that you are satisfied that perhaps 20 years will be ok to be served in prison for the 224 people that he blew up. That's the liberal kind of thinking. CONGRATULATIONS!! :applaud The relatives victims will be so proud of you for your statement and will bring a glorious patriotic closure to their slain relatives!! Yeeeaaayyyy!!!! :applaud

Most people who think this guy will be out within his lifetime are complete idiots. The USPC has been known for clamping down ever since Willie Horton.

They would probably be laughing if they had already confessed to crimes worthy of 50 life sentences.

I could get you to confess to raping and murdering your own (actually still living) mother if I waterboarded you long enough.

Confessions obtained under torture are not acceptable in any civilized justice system, because there's a pretty high liklihood they aren't even accurate. People will do anything to get the torture to stop. If you want a system where torturing you to get you to confess is considered ok, I suggest moving to North Korea.

Two points. 1. Thread that has gone way off topic is off topic.

2.

This is a really weak argument. It's something that the so called "real America" likes to spout. No part of this country is less American than other parts. No portion is "too liberal" to have an opinion, or "too conservative" to not be racists. We're one country, and until this kind of stupidity stops, we'll never get anything done. There are 310,736,000 of us. We are ALL Americans. No one is moreso than anyone else. Stop making this stupid argument.

Google San Francico's liberal standings because I won't do it for you and make you look bad. You better back it up with results and not by your opinion.
Walk the talk by your by your signature.

Uhhh he's not saying his opinion, he's telling you the facts: America is one country, and every state is a part of that country. Further, he rebuffed your meaningless argument about San Francico/Francosco by countering that it doesn't matter what any one part of the country thinks, we're all in this together. Now, you can either acknowledge his argument (and try to counter that), or you can keep ignoring it, and make yourself look even worse.

Let the moderator decide this. You are not the moderator here.

Its funny how you say that right after a moderator backs him up by saying "stick to the topic"

This Article actually goes to show that because harsh interrogation techniques were used on Ghailani, a witness which might've altered the decision, was prevented from testifying, ie the prosecution lost their ace in the hole because of waterboarding, or something like it.
