White House edits stain its reliance on science

Another anti Obama thread that totally ignores the fact that the Bush administration did the same thing.

yes pete, and a much worse result as well

but that does not cause Obama to be excused for engaging in this deceptive practice

When Libbos oppose Obama, it's just lip service, anyway.

You were all 100% behind the moratorium, from the git-go. The experts on the panel said back then, "we never suggested a drilling ban", and every last one of you jumped on the band wagon, anyway.

So, let me see if I can figure this out:

1) Obama is the Messiah. Liberals support him for everything.
2) Obama's approval ratings are tanking, Democrats are fleeing from him, liberals are disenchanted.
3) When liberals oppose Obama, it's just lip service. Secretly, they support him for everything.

I'm having trouble reconciling these, can you give me a hand?

I also love the broad generalization about all liberals being 100% behind the moratorium.

Me? I'm for the moratorium, but against politicians editing statements made by experts.

this is not transparency
this is obfuscation

this is NOT change we can believe in

I would say editorially the this is both transparency and openness, because it's openly transparent that this Administration has once again be caught attempting to deceive the everyone.

This goes hand in hand with all the evidence that has come out in the last year about the Global Warming HOAX, and all the deliberate flaws uncovered in Gores now disgraced BE movie.

But as I have said be before Obama will either ignore it try to shift the blame and if all else fails, lie, lie again.

I swear I have tried my best to figure out how anyone could still be defending this fraud, amateur, idiot, pick one they all fit and more, but I have come up with only one thing and that is the most frightening thing of all. The possibility that so many were putting so much hope and trust into Obama because they had all been convinced by radical extremists that President Bush was all the evil, vile, despicable, things he was accused of, they now can't let go of the dream, or more accurately, the delusions.

Anyone can be sucked if you are bombarded by propaganda when it's as nonstop as it has been for the last three plus years, and ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, have never told the public the truth about Obama and everyday leave something out of the news. It's called lies of omission, and they are all also guilty of helping to demonize President Bush beyond what he deserved.

President Bush was a lot of things and did somethings wrong a lot of which I complained about but he Obama is not who he is still being made out to be by the Liberal Left wing media.

I would recommend holding your breath that this will be the lead story on MSNBC, any time soon.

Bush lied on official documents and put tens of thousands of people out of work? Really? When?

When things go south for The One, you boys sure are quick to jump ship.

Time to put up the goods Pete. Where and when did the Bush Admin go before the court with falsified documents and shut down drilling, putting an industry and its folks on leave?

Links please.

But you just said that it's "only lip service." How do you manage to hold these two opposing views simultaneously?

Oh, going before the court with falsified documents, and selling their case using those doctored docs, and having the judge make his ruling on that evidence is criminal.

Calling Congressman Issa... calling Congressman Issa... Congressman Issa... pick up the Red Phone please.

Suspect the chances of any genuine investigation or ramifications for the actions are minimal. Was certainly bogus/slimy what they did in the report, but then again we are talking about politicians here. The WH and Administration have already come out with their "oops, just an innocent mis-communication" defense.

" The inspector general found that the experts themselves, when contacted by Salazar's office, felt that a mistake had been made.

"There was no intent to mislead the public," said Kendra Barkoff, an Interior Department spokeswoman. "As the report makes clear, the misunderstanding with the reviewers was resolved with the June 3 letter and a subsequent conference call with those experts."

Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton said that "the White House properly coordinated review for a draft document, incorporating comments and feedback from White House offices and other agencies with expertise." Any misunderstanding about the experts' position, Burton said, was quickly corrected by the Interior Department."

Annoying and disappointing. But hard to imagine anyone of significance gets burned for it.
