Dems thrilled as tea party win stuns Delaware GOP

For some here, being a Marxist is a natural evolution of accepting the proper political ideology, while having say... a religious belief is obviously the product of a diseased mind.

guess I don't understand what you are saying???

I dunno... I'm in the minority that thinks she has no interest in running for president in 2012. Just too soon, and she's very inexperienced. But I do think she may have some interest in running for president at some later date, or maybe start out with a Senate bid in 2014. She's still relatively young, so there's plenty of time for her.

It should be noted that she does not always support the Tea Party 100%... for example, in New Hampshire she backed Kelly Ayotte, who just barely won, over the more conservative Tea Party favorite in the race. IMO, this may have something to do with Ayotte being a woman... Palin has shown a strong bias towards female candidates recently.

Even if Palin does run in 2012, she's not stupid enough to run on a 3rd party Tea Party ticket. It won't happen.

She also supported McCain (yuk) over the Tea.
I agree with you, I don't think she is making plans for 2012. At least I hope not. I'd like to see her working in the same capacity she is now when 2012 rolls around. She's doing a great job for the country in my opinion.

There was no Tea Party candidate in that race. The Tea Party groups in Arizona refused to endorse Hayworth, and for good reasons. Hayworth was not a very good candidate; frankly, I probably would have voted for McCain if I lived in Arizona.

More importantly, though, McCain is the only reason why Palin is relevant... it'd be sort of dickish to stab him in the back after that.

But yeah, if she was planning to run for prez in 2012, she would have completed her term as governor, IMO.

She's never been afraid to take on her own party. The People are doing the same now. We are tired of voting simply because somene has an R behind there name.

right, now you're voting because someone has a "t" after their name, no matter their qualifications or history. in fact, you're voting for a woamn who couldn't pay off a 5k bill for 20 years. a woman who apparently can't get a job. but at least she's a virgin, right?

She sounds like a lot of Americans at this time except for the virgin part.
Unlike many Americans, I think she'll be employed after Nov.

Wait she's a virgin? Does she not get out?

the more folks pile on these tea party outsiders, the more they grow---can't you see that?

the mood is awesomely ANTI establishment

indeed, this TRASHING of wholesome men and mostly women is the SEED of their success

please continue

Thanks for the correction. I did think hayworth was backed by the tea party. In AZ I would have voted the lesser of two evils, held my nose and voted Mccain again.

Completing her term would have hurt Alaska. She did what was best for the state, even though she knew it would damage her politically. Believe it or not, some people are willing to put others ahead of their own self interest.
I think there are some liberals on DP who call that "idiotic". I call it being a good American.

So your saying she doesn't have the ability to govern?

Wholesome?! :rofl

So your saying she doesn't have the ability to govern?

More likely alluding to the fact that once she gained national attention there was suddenly a great deal of non-alaskan entities that were continually attempting to push for legal action, put forward complaints, and do other things that was bogging her time down and would've needlessly cost the tax payers money. Essentially, she became a nationa entity and gained national enemies quickly, and said enemies were going to be problematic to the well being of Alaska if she remained gov.

or suing someone else, maybe. lol.

We'll probably never know except for her short time governing in Alaska where her approval rating was 80%.
The left made it impossible for her to govern after she returned.

Yes, a good word for her is Wholesome. Now she is wholesome with a million dollars in donations since winning the nomination.

I hope the left keeps bashing away at her. They'll be the ones getting most the credit when she wins. Guess they haven't learned anything with their treatment of Palin. They kept her out there with tabloid stories. The more they went after her the more people became interested and ended up on her side and not their's.

O'Donnell was called unelectable....that's changing at a fast pace.

how so, barb?

How so what?
I don't agree that she doesn't have the ability govern but we've only had a small taste of her abilities. That was ruined by the left making it impossible for her TO govern,
I think we may never know how good she would be because I don't think she'll be running.

By what, criticizing her?

Yes, lets attack her on the issues. She's too far to the right to win.

she doesn't have a lot to say about the issues......wonder why?

Because it's all about liberty, and freedom, and you know, apple pie, and abstinence!
