And as for my own alleged axe to grind, it has to be said that fundamentalist Islam can't just be left alone to run around loose. And you don't need to carry bombs to be fundamentalist. Just build a victory mosque next to America's most harrowing mass-murder site in the teeth of all and any opposition.

I've had that from Liberals before, especially when I was new.

"We'll have this joker", they start out thinking. Cut to the nub and they put me on 'ignore', especially when they know they can cut and run before asking me to clarify further.

Debate won I fancy, though a little of an empty victory.
