Vigil Draws 150 in Support of Tennessee Mosque

Go to "My Life" then click on "Get a life" then see if you can find one. Can't find that option? Pity. Most of us can. I wasn't responding to you I was responding to the story.

LOL So you want to remain living a lie. Got it.

Just know you aren't fooling anyone

Once you shake off your disbelief...ask yourself what seies of events in this thread would CAUSE someone to even mention Christianity. IN a thread about an apparent arson attack committed by an unknown arsonist for reasons heretofore unknown as the police investigation is ongoing, just who made what accusations. And what does it say about the kind of asshole that would do that?

Oh...I know...I know...its FUN to put your prejudice on display...and you get to show how wonderful and progressive you are in the process...but until we KNOW something its all just bigoted speculation, now isnt it...and again...what kind of biased asshole would DO that?

I dont think I have seen ANYONE here say 'hey...if they are of one persuasion or another, give em a fre pass...after all...like the morons that defend the Palestinian terror attacks...you have to be sympathetic to people that took the terror actions of Muslims personally". Nope...every person I have seen posting here has been pretty consistent. Do the investigation and IF it turns out to be some zealot, then nail him to the wall. Likewise if it turns out to be someone trying to divert attention or curry favor and sympathy, then nail THEIR ass to the wall. But the key...first and foremost...find out who actually did WHAT before you slam the nails into anyone.

This thread is ****ing stupid.

What the hell did you think I just said?

All I said is that in a thread about a mosque-site being vandalized, why are you wah-wahing about attacks on Christianity? If this was about the church arsons of a couple years back, sure. But it's not. It's about people coming together to say to their Muslim neighbors who have lived peacefully beside them for nealry 30 years that they are still a welcome part of the community.

I've never f'ing said that Christians did it. I said - and I quote: It is most likely that someone who is anti-Muslim did this.

Where the **** do you people get that I said Christian? Point me to one post where I said Christians did this? I never said it.

You are all just making **** up so you can play the victim when the victims here are Muslims.

Throw your pathetic pity party somewhere else.

Oh, here is the Christian victim card, again. Wah! We're only 85% of the population. Stop picking on us. Wah!

Look, I'm a member of the Episcopal Church. You are not under attack. Trying to be nice and obey the 1st Amendment which says all Americans are free to practice the religion of their choice isn't politically correct. It's at the very core of this nation's purpose for existing.

What's anti-American is burning down someone else's place of worship or trying to prevent it from being built.

I can't believe that in a thread about a mosque construction site being burned, you'd come in and wah-wah for the poor Christians. It's been a long time since anyone put us before the lions. We're predominantly in control. Playing the victim card is weak and pathetic. Especially because it's not true.

Film Guy,

Did you ever read who brought up Christians and attacked them? Try actually reading the OP. And I see you are bringing up the false argument that people are attacking freedom of religion.

You don't even know how the fire started or who started it.

Are you so against facts you have to fabricate your own and attack others?

So, a thread that says, "You represent Christianity well" is an attack on Christians?

There is no emoticon for how ridiculously childish this all is.

The opening thread started with 'fear' of the poor muslims...then dragged in racism...Jim Crow...BOO! Skeeery, huh? From the beginning in this and other threads on this subject the FIRST THING Flying is prejudice and prejudgment. Bigotry and intolerance is a two way street...isn't?

The morons on the left (and apparently the 'centrists') jump quick to the notion that some hate group Christians did this. Oh...I know...its INSANE to think people might do something like burn their own equipment to end the protesting. Why...it HAD to be Christians...and a hate crime...right? Why...no one would make up LIES or do something like burn a little equipment to curry sympathy or favor? Would they All Sharpton and Tawana Brawley? Would they Barrack Obama (calling Bill Clinton racist to take the focus of his inexperience). Would they, democrat congressmen following the vote on health care? Would they democrats labeling Tea Party members racist to get the attention of the democrats dismal record on the economy, jobs, etc. Would they democrats who vandalized their own offices in Colorado and blamed republicans. Why...thats not even an OPTION or possibility now...is it?

Of course it is...just like it is entirely possible some zealous Christian set fire to the equipment. But until the investigation is done we dont KNOW...do we?

And the OP simply decried those who claim the mantle of Christianity and do un-Christian things - while simlutaneously praising a Christian and members of a Baptist Church.

But, you're right, we're just steps away from throwing Christains before the lions because I said it's most likely some punk-assed kids who did this. Obviously, that makes me, the Episcopal, a bigot against Christians.

The public schools in certain parts of the country set aside classrooms for Muslims to pray every day....In the same building where Christians are forbidden to do so in any organized fashion (unlike the Muslims) or not sponsoring the Boy Scouts, because it requires members to believe in God.

All courtesy of the ACLU. Whose side are they on?

Who says Christains can't pray in school in an enclosed environment?

I thought it was just that they cannot have, say... morning prayers over the school announcements which is fair enough, just like I would never endorse Muslim prayers being said over the intercom...

It's like at work yesterday, during break, I was sitting eating in the staff room, and my supervisor came in with a prayer mat, went into one of the changing rooms, prayed for 5 minutes, came out and went back to work.

Is that special treatment?

Muslim students at Berkner High School in Richardson Texas were given the right to leave class and go to a designated prayer room to pray back in Nov. 2005. Students of other faiths can pray but cannot leave class as the muslim students do.

This is one small example of stealth jihad and sharia creep.

Stealth Jihad? Going to a different room to pray because it might disrupt class, perhaps there isn't space for the prayer mats...

Stealth Jihad. Bollocks I say to that.

In Aug 2004 a florida woman Lina Morales was fired from her job for eating a BLT because it was not halah.

stealth jihad, sharia creep? You tell me.

There are many examples. CAIR (the unindited co-conspirator to the Holyland foundation whose members are in prison for funneling money to Hamas) and thier attorneys are behind much of this.

Target sued because muslims were told they would have to handle non halah items. Taxi drivers in Minn. refusing to pick up people who had been drinking. It goes on and on.

Ok so you think its ok to have seperate rules and standards at a PUBLIC school baised on religion?

SgtRock, the government can't infringe on a person right to practice their religion. Christians aren't required to pray at any specific time or in any certain manner.

Praying is not "Stealth Jihad".

Could we say there is some kind of stealth crusade going on also since things like this happen?

When Jarretta Hamilton, a fourth grade teacher at a Florida Christian school, told administrators she was pregnant, she expected them to ask when she was due. She did not, however, think her answer would get her fired.

I disagree. When there are seperate rules at a public school based on religion (remember seperation of church and state) that is wrong. Christaian students at Berkner High were told they could not do what muslim students were allowed to do. I say that this is sharia creep. It is happening in Europe to a much greater extent than here in the states but don't be fooled. Its comming to an airport (prayer rooms) University (foot baths) place of employment (banning non halah foods) near you IT.

Slowly muslims with there small percentage of the population will advance thier cause. It is in fact stealth jihad.

Tell that to the Christian club that met every week in the music room in the school I went too.

Your "outrage" is hilarious, yet very sad.

That place of employment is a private business right?

That High School is a public school right?

So why are you trying to compare the two?

BTW I'm sure you can find a chapter of The Fellowship of Christian Athletes at that High School or some similar type org.

Such double standard hypocrisy sir. When I played Football, we had a prayer before the game, now we can't. Separation of "Church and State". But it's okay to sanction Islamic Prayer? Cause Jefferson didn't write a letter saying "Separation of Mosque and State"?

Because this is how it started in the UK. Now they have Sharia courts and laws that apply to non muslims but not muslims such as British polygamy laws.

Christians aren't required to pray before football games. Muslims are required to pray at certain times in a certain manner. Praying at certain times in a certain manner isn't a requirement of Christianity so they aren't in violation of their religion by not praying. Christians are not required to pray at designated times, out loud, on a carpet facing a special city.

News flash.....we are not the UK.

Christians aren't required to pray before football games.

Well they still can and I'm sure accommodations could be made for them although that kind of negates the idea of being a team if some players are Muslim or what ever.
