Beck, Palin Stress 'Honor' at Rally

What the hell?

Apstd = black man = drug dealer.

Racist.

(Sucks to have your own liberal style racism accusations thrown back at you huh)

And if you knew how to analyze history correctly you would know that the democrats had a stranglehold on the because Lincoln was a republican, and the resentment from the civil war made it hard for anyone to win in the south running under "Lincoln's party"

no role for reconstruction, radical or otherwise?

why was andrew johnson impeached, what would abe have said?

tilden-hayes, 76, eerily similar to florida 2000---what was the fallout from that, again?

what was the great commoner's view of race?

Can we agree then that it is as unfair to label Republicans as Racist as it is to label Democrats as Racist?

And will you give the same argument in support of Republicans as you have for Democrats when the issue of Racism is raised?

It seems these 'racist' charges, as has those of 'bigot' etc. has gotten right out of hand.

I fully agree with this. And from what I witnessed, the majority of people who were throwing around the 'racist' card at Republicans were politicians and media pundits and/or their guests. I personally doubt a significant number of people believe everyone in the Republican party, or their supporters, are racist. And even if someone does believe that, they are either biased, trying to push an agenda, or are brainwashed.

Good to see you missed my point completely, and then accuse me of being a racist. Nice.

I figured I would post like a liberal for a change...

I didn't like it much myself.

I understood your REAL point, however.

How will we restore honor to bickering Debate Politics members? Those who have taken restoring honor day and turned it into a racism brawl have no honor, nor deserve any.

"Restoring honor" and calling it a Beck rally kinda suggests it was a rally to restore Becks honor.

Just a few notes, Beck didn't stand in the exact same spot as MLK Jr., he was actually standing a few steps down. There is a plaque on the step that MLK stood on. I seriously doubt there will be a plaque for the step Beck stood on. What would it say, "I have a scheme?"

And the Beck rally organizers had planned for about 300,000 to show up and the best estimate is that less than 100,000 showed up. The Park officials stopped taking crowd size counts in 1997 after they were accused of under estimating the Million Man March.

Look, in 2 consecutive post, you contradict yourself.

I guess maybe I should be mad because I lost my chance to be a professinal assassin, because murder is illegal. See how idiotic your premise is?

 you realize that when many people say something, sometimes it's because it's true? :) even if you don't like it?

I'm purdy sure she doesn't realize that...:rofl

You said the government didn't have the authority to limit jobs. Obviously thats wrong.

Alright, this is beginning to really bug me. This is also a big reason why I don't like Beck, or respect Beck. Your using history, without context, and without using all of the facts to push a narrative that helps your political views today.
There was a difference between Southern Democrats, and Northern Democrats, hell there was a difference between Southern Republicans, and Northern Republicans. Your trying to paint a narrative that tells us that all republicans supported the Civil Rights Movement, which wasn't the case. If your going to use history, atleast use it correctly.

You're using bigotry to prove your point; in that everyone in the south is a racist.

You said the government didn't have the authority to limit jobs. Obviously thats wrong.

Show me where the government has that authority. To limit jobs, that is. I can't wait for this!...LOL

Obama's drillings moratorium is your example? An executive in the executive branch is exercising his right to stop something temporarily he feels could be detrimental to the country and that's your example of individual rights suppression? I don't beleive in the moratorium either but this is a very lame example.

BTW he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. If he did not impose the moratorium he would have been criitcized too.

And one more thing; I'll bet if there had been a warning that the well that leaked, was in violation of saftety protocols, and Obama had production stopped you righties would have been also screaming bloody murder. In fact I don't think so, I know so.

OMG! What's next? We're all racists? Stop the madness!

Why would I call myself racist. I wasn't using bigotry, just using facts. Look at the Civil Rights Act vote, and see how the North, and South differ.

For every example of a black man with those problems you list I can find an example of white trash with the same problems. It's socio-economic class not race that causes problems.

I.e. there are very few blacks in my area, however we have plenty of poor people, alcoholics, white drug addicts (meth), and breakins, even some murders etc etc Lots of deadbeat dads too. Not long ago we had a guy beat his 1 year old stepson to death. Guess what? He wasn't black.

Can you give us an example where the Civil Rights industry is making money? You're always asking for examples so it's only fair, but I won't be holding my breath.

Sure, no problem.

Jesse Jackson 'exposed' in report

Who ruled Congress in the 60's?

Marijuana is illegal, therefore the government is not allowing marijuana salesmen to go into business.

How about you post results from all 50 states? Not just the 11 former Confederate states. Might blow your brainwashing all to hell?

You don't notice that those numbers add up to THE COMPLETE HOUSE AND SENATE?

What the hell, man?

Um, that is from Congress, you know, which includes all 50 states. What point are you trying to make? Or are you just not willing to let facts get in the way of your preconceived world view?
