Protesters rally against, for planned Islamic center in New York

Sing along, if you know the words...

They say there are strangers who threaten us,
In our immigrants and infidels.

alg_resize_mosque_imam-feisal.jpg

They say there is strangeness, too dangerous
In our theatres and bookstore shelves,
That those who know what's best for us
Must rise and save us from ourselves.

Walk hand in hand.

But Japanese citizens are part of japan. All of the ctizens are part of japan. There is NO CITIZEN who is not a Japanese citizen. And even they are not repsonisble.

So, you then remove the people one more step. None of those building the Mosque to ou knowledge is Al Qaeda. None. Not one. No connection. Nada.

Do you see the difference yet? Once you do, maybeyou can address it. ;)

So, your argument is that all japanese were part of the japanese empire and therefore part of those who attacked pearl harbor, but Al qaeda being muslims make them not part of the overall muslim culture?

No this is not my stance, but you are obfuscating so much I don't think even you know what you are saying at this point.

:failpail:

I don't think you get it Rev, Americans are intolerant, bigoted, racist. Its obvious by the lack of mosques, synogagues, and churches we have accross the country. Its muslims who are tolerant peace loving people, look at the massive number of synogogues, and churches in places like Saudi Arabia and the way they welcome non muslims into Mecca and Medina. Damn intolerant racist Americans.

you're getting closer. But looking at it backwards. Muslims as a single enity did not attack us. Al Qaeda did,a separate enity. So, al muslims would have to be part of Al Qaeda for your analogy to work. Much like all Christians would haveto be Klan members or nazis. The relgion is no more a single whole than all christans are the same.

With a country, Japan, they are the enity that attacked, and the citizens are members of that enity. We start with the enity that ttacked. In 9/11,that would be Al Qaeda. now, like with japna, we ask who make up that enity? With japan, it is citizens. And not Korean citizens,m but limited to only Japanese citizens.

Al qaeda may have muslims as members, like the klan has Christains, like germany had christians, but neither muslims nor christians were the attacking group. So, you're measuring backwards. Taking the small and linking it upward to a whole. Where Japan the country is the large ground going doard to it's members.

Again, do you yet see the diference/

Well, when you think "NYC - Manhattan" don't you automatically think: Racist, intolerant, bigoted, islamophobic, and lacking in diversity? I know I do.

I tend to think of buildings and wall street.

I can't bring up new points until you address the old points. It is you holding it up. ;)

I have, you blind partisan, refuse to see anything other than your own narrowminded ignorant position. I can't help you. Thanks for your concession.

yeah, my eyes are glossing over, you are regurgitating the same nonsense and it's boring. Your opinion is that anyone who thinks the imam is being purposefully antagonistic is a bigot, etc, including the other muslims who agree with me. And even though its the same thing, japanese center at pearl harbor is not the same thing as a mosque at ground zero....

Your typical disjointed illogic is tiresome.

Again, say what you have to say to save face, but you have it backwards. Japan is the attacking group. AlQaeda is the attacking group. You seek members of those groups and not what larger groups those two might be related to. it would like saying japan is part of Asia, so all asia attacked us.

I get it, I don't know why anybody else is having such a problem. You've been clear and concise.

I can't tell if he just doesn't follow, or is deliberately ignoring the logic so as to lok better. I suppose it doesn't matter.

The japanese people, including those here in the US, were not the attacking group, neither are most Muslims, it was al qaeda, to antagonize the area with a mosque like this is simply to be an asshole and is more an insult to his religion than anything the opposition is. no different than a japanese cultural center at pearl harbor.

You can do the typical boo shuffle but by making up your own points and using vague ambiguous nonsense as an argument, it's not me looking foolish.

Or it could be your opinion is not fact and you are all butt hurt over someone telling you reality.

No trouble with that. Trouble with you not addressing the statements like you understand them.

Japanese citzens were, yes they were. Japan is made up entirely of Japanese citzens. No one who is not a Japanese citizen is in no way part of Japan. Al Qaeda is made up entirely or Al Qaeda memebers. Anyone who is not a member is no more linked to them than Christians who do not belong to the klan are linked to the klan. Only al Qaeda members are al Qaeda members.

Who they worship has no more bearing than who nazis worshipped or who the klan worshiped. If koreans worshiped the exact same enity as japan, Korea would still nt be responsible. if all asia worshipped the same, the blame would be singular to Japan.

It's not reality, it's your opinion.

What it's not reality that not only do I think the imam is being an antagonistic asshole but other muslims as well?

That's not reality even though I linked to several?

Boo makes broad general statements and claim they are fact. It's opinion.

Yup. All that means is that your perception is shared by some people. That doesn't make it fact.

What others think is irrelevant. other ay think the sun eevolves around the earth, but them thinking so wouldn't mke it true.

As for my statements, I do try to be as specific as possible. You might try addressig them. Be specific yourself. :lamo

This is a dodge of reality in order to keep your closed mind happy about your self absorbed opinions you make yourself believe are incontrovertible fact.

I have, because you are incapable of basic comprehension, Don't look at me to help you. I suggest a professional.

Moderator's Warning:
The personal crap, the subtle and not so subtle personal attacks, the off topic crap, the "you fail" crap, and all the other crap ends now.

Can you imagine how this would be all over the news if those being threatened were

Nancy Pelosi not Dick Army
Olbermann, Ed Shultz not Rush and Hannity
MSNBC and not Fox
Moveon.org and not Freedom Works

I've got a good imagination but not that good.
