Ground Zero Mosque On The Move?

It's not a loose connection, it's a direct connection, they did not perpetrate the attacks in the name of the male gender they did it in the name of Islam. You people are really stretching here.

They did it in the name of Islam as much as an entire Nation did it in the name of Christ. In ****ING 1995 man.

Besides, by loose connection, I mean everyday Muslims being assumed terrorists. For example look at what i said. They = Muslims. The subject in the sentence is Muslims. Muslims did not do it in the name of Allah. THOSE TERRORIST MUSLIMS did. As much as THOSE TERRORIST MEN did. You just argued there is a link between all Muslims and the terrorist ones. If that's true then there must be a link between all Christians and the ones who commited genocide.

By the way, there are THOUSANDS of Christian churches in many places where Christians laid claim to land and mass murdered thier people for conversion purposes. Like all of the USA. Or Mexico, South America, Africa, India...etc. Those are non issue? Those cant be used as case study?

Strippers conducted the 9-11 attacks?
Well, now that you mention strippers, the terrorists did seem to like Las Vegas quite A LOT....
http://www.christiangallery.com/LeavingLasVegas.htm

Oooo la la, who knows what naughty ideas the strippers put in those baddy terrorists little pinheads. But one thing is for sure, those strippers clearly planned a "victory" strip club near Ground Zerooooo to incite and provoke sensitive feelings. Bwah ha ha ha haaaa.

I'm sure that the town of Srebenica has a bar and/or gentlemens club too, but does that mean that it would be appropriate to build an Orthodox Church there? Hardly.
Appropiate? Who are you to say what is "appropiate"? You can't even live up to your own standards.

Thank you for bringing up such a good point like Srebrenica by the way. You are familiar with the mass murder of Muslims in Serbia by White Christians? What happened?

Did the majority of Muslims declare war on Christianity. Nope, just the extremists.

It was generally White Christians in the form of the NATO alliance who came to their aid.

Now, when we were attacked did the majority of Americans declare war on Islam? Well, apparantly...and to top it off we bombed the **** out of 2 countries not including Pakistan.

We did not declare war on all Muslims, call me when we start a mass deportation of Muslim-Americans then you can make that claim. What we did was declare war on two countries, one (Afghanistan) who hosted an organization which killed 3,000 U.S. citizens which in fact had a seat within that government in the ministry of defense and filled the ranks of its military, the other (Iraq) which was in flagrant breach of an armistice from 1991 which was agreed to after that country illegally annexed their peaceful neighbor Kuwait, and that we now know without any doubt was plotting to attack the U.S. with Islamic radicals (including AQ affiliates) as demonstrated by the Pentagon review of the DOCEX release.

Wierd how September 11th is so important, yet most people don't know wtf the significance of Srebrenica is. What's the difference?

I think mainly because it would likewise entail acknowlegement of the U.S coming to the aid of oppressed Muslims which is counter to the Islamist and Leftist narrative that it is the U.S. who oppresses Muslims.

Appropiate? Who are you to say what is "appropiate"?

A free man and not a Dhimmi paralyzed by reverence for and fear of an oppressive ideology.

You can't even live up to your own standards.

So then I can only assume that you're all for an Orthodox Cathedral in the town of Srebrenica. If not you must be a bigot.

Besides, they didn't even beat us. They didn't ****ing dent us. There can't be a "victory mosque" unless they have won.

Until they've "won," the COMMUNITY CENTER with a mosque NEAR ground zero should be seen as just that. They are already part of the community. They already own the property and have for some time. They can and should do whatever they want on thier property, ESPECIALLY practice thier religion. You are literally arguing AGAINST the inherant values this country was founded on. I understand your not arguing about the constitutionality, your arguing about the poor taste...Well then why aren't you so proactively against the white Christians ACTUALLY protesting the funerals of those who died in the war because "God hates fags." That is thier constitutional right, but holy ****, a mosque near Ground Zero is just way too far!

Muslims did not do it in the name of Allah. THOSE TERRORIST MUSLIMS did. As much as THOSE TERRORIST MEN did. You just argued there is a link between all Muslims and the terrorist ones.

And that link is the shared ideology of Islam. Are you trying to assert that Islamist terrorists are not motivated by their religious ideology? There is within Islam a large mainstream Islamist movement that blurs the line between politics and religion, for them they are one in the same and the terrorists that attacked us were driven by their religious convictions.

If that's true then there must be a link between all Christians and the ones who commited genocide.

There is, they both share the same ideology which is why it would be completely inappropriate to build an Orthodox Church in the town of Srebrenica.

By the way, there are THOUSANDS of Christian churches in many places where Christians laid claim to land and mass murdered thier people for conversion purposes. Like all of the USA. Or Mexico, South America, Africa, India...etc. Those are non issue? Those cant be used as case study?

The U.S. forcefully converted people to Christianity? Anyways we're not talking about centuries old vendettas here we are talking about less than a decade. I'm not calling for the dismantling of the Dome of the Rock, the Blue Mosque of Iran, or the The Sultanahmet Camii of Turkey now am I?

The KKK is in pretty poor taste too, yet we always come to the conclusion that your lack of approval is irrelevant thanks to the good ol' constitution.

White people claiming God killed the troops because he hates "fags" are old, ignored news stories so we can discuss how distasteful it is to build a mosque near Ground Zero.

LOL

Yes my approval is inconsquential, however, that doesn't mean that I will defend the KKK itself the way you seem to be defending not just the rights of this group but the group itself.

LOL

Actually Westboro Baptist Church is almost always counter-protested and for good reason.

Would you support the Westboro Baptist Church opening up a new church on or near the site where Mathew Shepherd was murdered?

A free man and not a Dhimmi paralyzed by reverence for and fear of an oppressive ideology.
The terrorists weren't so oppressed that they couldn't enjoy a few lap dances at a strip club in Vegas before they hijacked the planes. I can only assume you are ignoring that fact because you think strip clubs are "sacred".

So then I can only assume that you're all for an Orthodox Cathedral in the town of Srebrenica. If not you must be a bigot.
Name calling, tsk, tsk, tsk. Your entire argument is a fallacy.

Who can stop them?

Over 300 Million people in this country and you think you are somehow capable and worthy of judging the intentions, or ill intentions of such a small group of people in one tiny instance.

Just saying, its strange, the group you choose to pick on.

I can think of a lot of way more distasteful gestures mades by small groups in the public. Even the strip clubs in the same Manhattan neighborhood, or the crazy white Christians who think dead troops are god's punishment to us for accepting gays, or the kkk, or I don't know, actual terrorists.

AQ sees a victory in every dead American.

Until they've "won," the COMMUNITY CENTER with a mosque NEAR ground zero should be seen as just that.

It's a Mosque which doubles as an Islamic Community Center until you can provide evidence that they will be holding daily reliigious services for other non-Muslim members of the Community.

They are already part of the community. They already own the property and have for some time. They can and should do whatever they want on thier property, ESPECIALLY practice thier religion. You are literally arguing AGAINST the inherant values this country was founded on.

No I am literally arguing that the motivation behind this Mosque is one of deliberate division and incitement.

I am arguing that they have the right to build it and practice their religion, I am, also, arguing that we have the right to protest it. The inherent values upon which this country were founded are a two way street I can support the National Socialists right to assembly and speech while simultaneously condemning them as the assholes that they are.

I understand your not arguing about the constitutionality, your arguing about the poor taste...Well then why aren't you so proactively against the white Christians ACTUALLY protesting the funerals of those who died in the war because "God hates fags." lol, I road with the Patriot Guard Riders down in Spring Hill.

If you want to take a nice close look at the issue....

Let us argue whether or not us arguing about the intentions of a man who owns property and wants to use it as a community center with a mosque, is actually breaking news?

It's so sad the fights you folks try to pick.

"Aside from Constitutional rationale, its in poor taste" somehow needs to be applied to this situation rather than a slew of actually scary premises, like the Michigan Militia than turned out Timothy McVeigh, or Evangelicals who protest military funerals, or eco-terrorists, or racism and our disregarding of its existence, or self righteous right wingers who know what's best for all Americans, and that if a majority says so, than the minorities must suffer.

Hate to break it to ya, but here's a few results to some polls you should cite....
A vast majority of Americans were against civil rights prior to its passage through congress. The vast majority of Germans in the late thirties were active voluntary members of the Nazi party. The majority of Americans voted for Andrew Jackson largely due to his notorious reputation as a brutal military leader and proponent of the eradication of Indians in order to move West. The majority of Americans think there shouldn't be a mosque near Ground Zero.

Sometimes, the majority isn't always right.

 It's not us trying to paint all Musliims as terrorists it's your side trying to paint all Muslims as peace loving and tolerant when that is clearly not the case with this specific Imam. If he wanted to build bridges he would not be building the Mosque. If he were not an Islamist then he wouldn't have said the U.S. was an accessory to 9-11 and that OBL was made in the USA less than 3 weeks after 9-11, he wouldn't refuse to condemn Hamas as a terrorist organization, and he wouldn't be calling for a Sharia compliant US..

Oh and I'm interested in your source for the statistic regarding Americans views on the civil rights movement at the time.

Over 300 Million people in this country and you think you are somehow capable and worthy of judging the intentions, or ill intentions of such a small group of people in one tiny instance.

Then what is this Imam's intentions?

Just saying, its strange, the group you choose to pick on.

A) How can you dislike strippers?

B) I road with the Patriot Guard Riders down in Springhill to counter-demonstrate by shielding the families against that sick homophobic bastard Fred Phelps and his imbred family.

C) If the KKK was trying to build a meeting hall 2 blocks away from the site where MLK Jr. was murdered you bet your ass I would protest it.

Strippers conducted the 9-11 attacks?

I'm sure that the town of Srebenica has a bar and/or gentlemens club too, but does that mean that it would be appropriate to build an Orthodox Church there? Hardly.

But you wouldn't deny them now, would you? Besides, that's not the point of my comment and you know it! But since you mentioned it and as has already been mentioned several times over, you can't blame all Muslims for the evils of a few.

See! The guy who wants to build a ****ing community center is now affiliated with AQ. Holy ****...

You said "they" who do you mean by "they"?

This man is not a peaceful tolerant bastion of secular Islam, he stated that the U.S. was an accessory to 9-11 and that OBL was made in the USA less than 3 weeks after the attacks, he refuses to condemn Hamas as a terrorist organization, and he wants a Sharia Compliant US..
And it's not a community center, it's a Mosque and an Islamic Community Center, if that's not the case when will they be holding religious services for non-Muslim members of the community?

The terrorists weren't so oppressed that they couldn't enjoy a few lap dances at a strip club in Vegas before they hijacked the planes. I can only assume you are ignoring that fact because you think strip clubs are "sacred".

Do you even try to be comprehensible?

Name calling, tsk, tsk, tsk. Your entire argument is a fallacy.

Really how is it a fallacy? Would you support building an Orthodox Cathedral in or 2 blocks from the town of Srebrenica? It's a simple question and an accurate parrallel to building this Mosque.

Re: Mosque in new york to possibly move!

It's been nine years since Americans have had any tolerance towards Muslims whatsoever.

lol we never stopped having tolerance for Muslims, it's your country that banned the Hijab and the Burqa not ours, it's your country where there has been an epidemic of defamation of Muslim cemetaries, and it's your country where the Muslims riot in the streets.

And there wasn't even terrorist attack in your country even remotely comparable to the 9-11 attacks which would have precipitated such feelings of animosity.
