Well, yes, as there were 11-17 million people killed in the holocaust.

That's beside the point though, because what I'm actually trying to tell you is that you haven't offered a shred of credible evidence to support your claims.

How about this: I will accept anything that comes from a website that doesn't include flashing icons or wasn't made by some guy in his basement.

You could use a book, or an article from a historical journal, or even a news story. ****, I'll even take wikipedia.

*sigh* the information that I linked you to is supported by The Encyclopedia of The Holocaust. If you would have bothered to actually read the information, you would have known that.

Hell, the link I provided throws as much blame on the Vatican as it does the Muslims, probably more. But, I know you didn't read enough of the information to know that.

Before and during the war many Non-Serbian Yugoslavs felt excluded from the government. That the nation was just an extension of Serbia. That's one of the major reasons for the country's quick collapse in 1941. A lot of the non-Serbian Yugoslavs were, you guessed it, Muslims.

In the Soviet Union, similar story. Stalin's policies killed a lot of people, mostly in the countryside, and his collectivization took away the peasant's land. They hated Stalin, and many, non-Muslims and Muslims alike, defected. Guess where most Soviet Muslims lived? The countryside!

So yes, many Muslims did collaborate with Hitler during World War II, but even if your (no-doubt vastly inflated) claims are correct, this has more to do with economic and nationalist differences that affected Non-Muslims equally.

they are damned if they and damned if they don't. don't you think fox news, etc......will publicize this for all it's worth? all the lame right wing nut job sites will be all over this, and people will believe it, of course. maybe the damage control will help. i don't think it's our business how they use their holiday, just as it's not my business how the jews, or any other group, uses their holidays. unless of course they are causing harm.

Sadly because we were attacked on 9/11 or sadly because we make a big deal of the holiday because of the attack? It is very unrealistic for Americans in general to not have a reaction regardless if it were coincidence. Let the Muslims deal with the discomfort just as Americans deal with it. It will pass.
