What a meaningless list. You're looking at their "democracy" score. What does "democracy" mean in terms of this list? My guess is that it involves numerous "social democratic" (i.e., "free" stuff from the government) factors. It must, considering the countries on the list. That's not "freedom." That's largess.

And in any case, raw "democracy" =/= "freedom."
 
Well, if you prefer, we could be like Iran and the Sudan, which chops the heads off gay people, but I don't believe that would be very civilized. I think I'd rather we be like most of the rest of the world instead.

Yes that's exactly what people who prefer to actually follow the constitution and pass laws instead of reinterpreting law to get something we want personally passed.

Its not really Jet. There are other alternative lifestyles out there who are still denied so the slogan doesn't really fit.
