You know. I think I have a solution to all of this. I am constantly seeing threads/comments like this. Obama=Hitler, Obama=Marx, Obama=[add in your own heinous person]. When it is commented that this tactic is pretty ridiculous as not only is it not based in reality, but it also demonstrates that our esteemed conservative posters have nothing to say but hyperbole, a common response is, "but liberals did the same thing when Bush was in office", or something similar. My response has always been, "so, you are admitting that you are acting just like the liberals you claim to hate. Good to know". I think, however, I will take a different tack and see if that is more effective. I recall a comment from a member who no longer posts here:

Prove it. In order to do so, you must provide evidence that ANY light-skinned black person is light-skinned because he is mixed. Don't forget to focus on the word in bold.

Come on, apdst... we've been through this before. You made an assertion. I just challenged you to produce evidence of it. So... show evidence that ANY light-skinned black person is light-skinned because he is mixed. Don't forget to focus on the word in bold. Links with data will be sufficient.

Go to Africa and see how many "light-skinned" people there are there. You will find some in South Africa, for sure. But they are referred to as colored, which is their word for mixed-race...

South African Coloreds are a race within themselves. There are light skinned blacks who are full blacks. I know, I lived there.

How is this possible if we all come from two people? How can we have so many "pure" races?
 
Do those of you who consider yourselves to be Tea Party members really think that politicians like Sarah Palin have the skills, knowledge and depth to be president...would you truthly rather have Sarah as president than Pres. Obama?

Consider this. A Caucasian with African blood is a little darker than normal for a white person. How come it doesn't work that way?
