Fortunately we live in a society that for the most part moves towards equal rights regardless of the majority opinion.

Marriage isn't a right, its a privilage.

If it is a right you can't deny it to anyone or any group.

well, marc sanford supports the sanctity of marriage amendment which would not allow gay marriages to be recognized by law. the intent being that gay marriage would hurt the sanctity of hetero marriage. however, sanford cheated on his wife with several women which would seem to indicate that he really doesn't support the sanctity of marriage.

i thought this would be obvious to someone who uses their brain.

we were talking about gay marriage. my point would be that those who are against gay marriage are hypocrites. i should not have to explain this but i guess i have to babysit here.

maybe that's why you all prefer long posts. your brains are not capable of figuring things out quickly or with fewer words...like most intelligent people.
