Louisianans take oil cleanup in own hands as frustration mounts

I am deeply concerned at the apparent lack of work that is being done to clean up this mess.
Both BP and our Messiah seem to imagine that it is ok to cease work on this problem come the weekend.

Well Obama baby, it is not ok, and it is up to you to get off your comfortable chair and get EVERYONE to work their butts off until this problem is solved.

Hurricane season is just about a week away from commencement, can you imagine the damage that a strong Hurricane can cause to the Gulf states when / if it enters an oil covered gulf.

Is this lackadaisical attitude YOUR DEFINITION OF CHANGE?
Because if it is, we do not want either you or it.

What would you have Obama do?

Specifically, what do you Obama to do?. Let's hear it.

most ominously, cnn this afternoon put up a timer that ticked away live the seconds, like gallons gushing into the gulf, since this disaster began on april 20

32 days, 23 hours, 18 minutes, 37 seconds...

38 seconds...

39 seconds...

just as if a republican were in the white house

pray

governor jindal is gonna have to take action

he's gonna build a chain of sand berms 50 miles out

the army corps of engineers is conducting an impact study but jindal says he can't WAIT

americans from coast to coast understand and sympathize

40 seconds...

have you seen yet the tv images of the rust colored residue the reeds are floating in?

the gobs of gluey goo on the beaches?

they're heartbreaking and terrifying

what do you think they're gonna look like in a few weeks?

42...

It might have been preferable had you both PRO-BIPARTISAN & THE NEXT ERA taken the trouble to read the article, to which I have attached a link.

You might then realize that a whole lot of folk are deeply upset with the Messiah's apparent lack of action, in so far as the Coast Guard has decided to ease it's efforts as well as BP easing their efforts with regard to easing the oil spill damage.

I was under the impression that the Messiah was the ULTIMATE US authority over the Coast guard.

What can he do? apparently little other than parade around the Country on a Tax Payer funded Aircraft which emits more pollutants to the atmosphere, while using his mouth to castigate everyone else who also uses fossil fuels.

In short I expect him to not only care about this disaster that is happening not only to Louisiana but also the rest of the US Gulf coast.

I not only expect him to care, I also expect him to energize HIS administration into some form of continuing action.
If he is incapable of this then he should step aside and let someone who is more able do this job.
