Of course we didn't have that type of technology in 2005.
Huh, what?

North Korea deserves to be toppled. Not by us, but by South Korea. North Korea just can't match the military strength of South Korea. The only problem is if China gets involved. How are relations between China and South Korea?
BBC News - 'North Korean torpedo' sank South's navy ship - report
This is some serious **** the repercussions could be dire, I mean it's not as if they could go to war... could they? Highly doubt it, but this has serious implications not only on South Korea but for you in the US too.

I'm sorry but they can't. Trying to engage North Korea for any nation is a perrilous task, they do have millions of fanatical and slave driven soldiers who will fight til the end in fear. They fear their own superiors more than the enemy.
To fight North Korea, it would be a hell of a task, with casaulties we haven't seen since Vietnam. A task no one wants to carry out.
Would they use them though? Use of those weapons would ensure a joint invasion by pretty much the rest of the world.
At the very least I hope reaffirms to the people of South Korea just how big a threat to them North Korea is. I've heard that some South Koreans seem to believe that the country could be happily re-united if not for the presence of the US military.

Think about it..... I'm sure you will figure it out.

where's obama?
he's not in IOWA pushing HEALTH CARE again, is he?
The only thing that pops to mind might be Katrina, but that would be a really stupid argument.
Why would that be? Bush was crucified for not being there night and day... you know, for not rebuilding NO. with his bare hands in 6 days.
Do you for some reason think that Bush wasn't on the phone, meeting with advisors from the minute that Hurricane hit LA.?
So now, who is stupid?
What was done to Bush is entirely irrelevant to the argument I made. Further, good look showing where I "crucified" Bush for not being there. I do not speak for "the left", and "the left" does not speak for me. Lastly, are you saying that the criticisms of Bush in that case are justified? Or are you saying that the criticism of Obama here is unjustified?
Not giving a press conference on it means he is neglecting it?
Both or neither.... but the standard has to be the same.
Let's face it, neither one is responsible for every bird that falls, but both are or will be held responsible.... that's just the way the world works.
Every bird that fell during Bush's watch was used to crucify him for 8 years. We'll only have 4 years or less to do the same for Barry.... live with it, learn to love it, you probably won't have another chance in your life time.

Technically speaking ... they are still at war. The war never officially ended ... a cease fire was declared and the conflict ended... the war did not.
The North is asking to be obliterated. This would cause another conflict in Korea... in which the North is the enemy. The Pyongyang made a grave error and needs to be delt with. It's time for Kim Jong Ill and his family to be removed and for the North to be put in permenant check.
Well, thats a laudable goal . . . and how would you suggest accomplishing it? As in my prior post, the two most direct methods: military and UN security council are impossible. In the latter, the Chinese have veto power. In the former, the North Koreans have intermediate range missles and nuclear weapons which I'm certain they would use.
Should we just ask them nicely? Shake a shame shame finger at them? Stop food shipments so the people starve? Options are a bit lacking.
But you are arguing against nameless people, not me. I made the argument this time, and I did not crucify Bush over not being at Katrina. Don't use what others do to argue against me. Stick to arguing what I say.
An I supposed to click my heels when I say yes sir?
India is not very friendly with China, now. Now, if India were to get involved somehow it would make it interesting.
