LOS ANGELES - A U.S. Muslim hate group has issued a dire Internet "warning" to creators of the satirical animated TV show "South Park" over a depiction of the Prophet Muhammad in a bear outfit.
"We have to warn Matt (Stone) and Trey (Parker) that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show," said a posting on the muslim hate-based website RevolutionMuslim.com.

The website posted a graphic photo of slain Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh, who was killed in 2004 by an Islamic militant over a movie he made that accused Islam of condoning violence against women.

It also posted link to a news article with details of a mansion in Colorado that Parker and Stone apparently own.
The episode in question aired last week on cable channel Comedy Central of the 200th episode of "South Park", in which the Prophet Muhammad was depicted in a bear outfit.

"South Park" has a history of aiming biting satire at politicians, celebrities and the media, and its episodes have often drawn criticism.
The website of Revolution Muslim was down on Wednesday because of what a leader of the group called a traffic overload.

The head of the hated-based group, Revolution Muslim, Younus Abdullah Muhammad, 30, defended the posting. "How is that a threat?," he told Reuters. "Showing a case study right there of what happened to another individual who conducted himself in a very similar manner? It's just evidence."

Muhammad said his group "didn't tell anyone to go to their houses and conduct violence" and he added he is not worried the Web post would lead to violence against Parker or Stone.
He described his group as an alternative media outlet with about 20 active posters to the website. Members also engage in demonstrations and lectures at mosques, he said.
"Why would anybody that is plotting or planning to commit a violent act in retaliation, why would they need a post on RevolutionMuslim.com?" he said.
Comedy Central, a unit of Viacom Inc that airs "South Park," declined to comment.

I also added a few words to the report to make it more accurate.

I wish Two and a Half Men would make an anti-Islam comment. That show needs to be blown up.

I would say this language conveys much less of a threat than much of the rightwing rhetoric against the Obama administration or Congress

I've only watched it in snippets because it is so lame.

Its a lot better than any show on MTV and VH1. I have never seen such pathethic worthless humans since Jerry Springer.

HUH?????
what does partisan politics have to do with a racial hate-group giving death "warnings" to innocent artists expressing their creativity!?!?!?!?

Fricking love the South Park. I saw this episode and it was awesome. It's satire for christ sake. Some people are so sensitive.

I actually saw this episode the night that it aired. It speaks the truth.

For those of you who haven't seen it, the characters spent the whole episode trying to conceal Muhammad's appearance, so they ended up putting him in a bear costume.

Its hilarious and points out obvious hyprocrisy in Islam. We can't show a picture of Muhammad, but neither can we conceal his appearance. Its all bullsh*t.

Not sure about that. I heard an interview on CNN this morning with an Abdulh Schmuckoduc inam from that Muslim site and Schmucko told the CNN interviewer that Ali Allah has "commanded" Muslims to terrorize the infidels. Yes Abdulh bin Schmucko did indeed say terrorize the infidels. HEARD IT with my two good infidel ears.

yep, probably not a good time or place for that comparison for anyone to make.

I Don't blame the Mussies. portraying Muhammad as a bear is just wrong:doh
everybody knows Muhammad was a Muslim pig

Yeah, much like when your friendly neighborhood Mafia guys stop by your shop offering you protection from the baddies.

Yeah.......want to compare "rightwing" terrorist attacks vs Islamic terrorists attacks?

Is history that unknown to you?

This is just hypocrisy by a militant Muslim group. South park makes fun of everyone from every religion and spectrum. If you're so sensitive that you can't handle a joke than you aren't ready for the real world. Although I found this ironic

They slew someone because he said that Islam condones violence against women... I know the vast majority of Muslims aren't like this, but I find this quote to be very ironic and sad. He accused Islam of being violent... so in protest they brutally slew him and put up graphic photos.

I was thinking the exact same thing, it begs to become the definition of irony in the dictionary ;)

Hey you expect the Muslims to have a sense of humor ? These are the same Shchmuckoducs who killed people in riots over a cartoon for God's sake!!

Yup. And you mention them in a negative light in certain places and you are called a racist.
What a tell-tale way to see the naive people in this Country.

The episode was a cliffhanger. Has the second half aired yet?
I haven't seen it.

I ****ing love South Park, but here is the kicker they have portrayed Muhammad before. Does anyone remember the Super Best Friends episode when they fight David Blaine?

With Sheen's recent actions, the show might be put on hold.

Dirka Dirka?

Did anyone watch the newest episode, the conclusion to their 200th episode? The actually bleeped "Mohammad" the entire episode. And at the end when they had their "you know, I learned something today" moment, they bleeped a straight minute of dialogue.

I really hate Comedy Central right now.

To the person that asked why? Because WillRockwell is the definition of Hyper Partisan and must turn every and anything into a partisan debate. One could be describing the color of a rock and he would somehow turn it into a way to insult conservatives. Thank you Will for interjecting your utter and complete bull**** into a thread that had no reason for it at all. You never fail to stay true to your typical actions.

They even had this mentioned in the first of the two part episodes. When a town hall meeting was had to tell everyone that the Celebrities would cease their class action suite if they got to meet [censored] everyone was like "ooooo, we can't do that" Stan started saying how they've seen him once. He was part of the super best friends and there was a giant evil lincoln and he was killed by a giant john wilkes booth. Then stan was told to shut up and they moved along.

Muhammad was actually in the opening of dozens upon dozens of South Park shows AFTER Super Best Friends aired by being in their opening credits. Indeed, the two parter "Cartoon Wars" which was in part dealing with the whole censorship of Muhammad situation...where, after 1 and a 1/2 episodes of cricitizing censorship and how if you censor one thing you have to censor everything, Comedy Central then censored Muhammad with a fish hat....actually had him IN the opening credits.

The best part of the most recent episode though was the way they were showing the idiocy. Jesus was addicted to internet porn. Budda was continually snorting crack.

Love that show.
