Muslim Hate Group Gives Death-threat to South Park

I find it halarious that Islam can believe all their crap and then come back and say the belief of christianity is a false belief.

It's all fairy tales to begin with. Saying, "My fairy tale is real and your's isn't," is, well, rediculously funny.

Why not? Christians do it all the time to Muslims, and it's just as ridiculous.

As an Agnostic, I laugh at all such behavior, regardless of the source.

I do not recall any God being proven.

Yes Allah may not exist. The same argument can be extended to the Christian God or Jewish God

True dat. And precisely why I don't believe in any of them. Or Santa Claus. Or the Tooth Fairy.

Fair enough and that is your choice to not believe in any of that.

It's not a choice. it's that there is zero compelling evidence that supports belief in any of them.

Do you choose not to believe the moon is made of green cheese? I dare you to force yourself. Surely you can do it, if you try hard enough. I've told you, the moon smells of roquefort. Believe it. Have faith! With faith, all things are possible!

See I have always found that interesting.

Jesus is more important than Prophet Mohammed because he will be the one that will return on Judgement day, so why do some Muslims turn a blind eye to Jesus being insulted but get all hyper over Prophet Mohammed?

I think it's because, for many people, religion is more a part of their cultural/tribal identity, rather than being a medium for spiritual progress. They see the defacing of Mohamed as being an assault of their people by foreign 'others' who are outside of their cultural/tribal group.

Yeah, that's what pretty much all religions do. "My ridiculous story is the unquestionable truth, and everyone else's is a ridiculous story." You'd think they'd get some perspective.

You would. But they don't.

Well, just speaking for me, it's not really a "choice". Paper or plastic is a choice. It's more just weighing the facts known to date. I'm not choosing to believe Zeus does not sit on top of Mount Olympus. I'm merely acknowledging that one can see the top of Mount Olympus and he's not there. Splitting hairs maybe, I know. But there is something odd about saying I "choose" to believe dragons don't exist. If that makes any sense to you.

I wish Two and a Half Men would make an anti-Islam comment. That show needs to be blown up.

I'd love to see all advertising on TV "blown up".
But, what good does that do?
And we will be as bad/evil as the Islamics if we advocate such violence.
Note to self and others - turn off the TV and read a book.

The Islamics have to "grow up". Simply stated, many of us have no respect for other people's religion, maybe not good, but that is the way it is in a free society.
Maybe us having a free society causes the Islamics to be hateful and envious of us ???

I took it back in the late nineties. Best class I ever took, by the way.

What was your major?

I've been looking at collages lately for my advanced degree and have yet to see any such "logic 101' class required for the technical sciences.

Since our tangents are now on tangents, may as well interject real quickly on this one.

I agree Logic was one of the best courses I took as well, it should be mandatory that everyone take this class to participate here at DP. Those who do not understand the basic tenets of logic often have no idea how stupid their arguments can look at times, and are ignorant to how easily their "arguments" can be dismissed.

Jerry.. Logic is generally not required for the majority of majors, and is offered as an elective, and it is a damn good elective at that.

It was an elective course and not required for my major. It was in the philosophy department, FWIW.

LOL wth? The website is still hacked!

Revolutionislam.com

I figured they would change it back or take it down by now.

The hilarity continues.

Edit: Oh wait, their actual website is Revolutionmuslim.com, and people were just redirected to Revolutionislam.com

They did take Revolutionmuslim.com down.

Hey, it takes a while to get stuff done when you're busy beating your wife and praying to Mecca 20 times a day.

Holy crap, that may be the most un-PC thing i've heard all year ;)
And it's not even May yet.

Just to clarify, I was referring to the Talibanish Muslims that run the website. Obviously the vast majority of Muslims are decent people.

Take a Logic 101 class or something.

If you'd taken a Logic 101 class, you'd realize that you can't prove a negative.

Is that even a real class anywhere?

Mine was taught in the communication department of my college.

I think mine was in the math department.

My major is Arabic Studies. I didn't have to take a logic class - Budump-ching. No seriously..no logic class.

I suspect an Arabic logic class would actually be called Insha'Allah 101, and it wouldn't need an entire semester to teach it ...

From among Western Dakota Tech, School of Mines and Tech, and Black Hills State University, the only classes I can find which regard 'logic' are computer programming courses...and one class on early childhood development.

ahh you are in the Dakotas. I think there is a valid reason why they do not offer logic courses there. Teaching students logic would make them aware that there is no logical reason to live in the Dakotas, and everyone would abandon state. :2razz:

I am surprised to hear they do not offer a course in logic, that is a shame, it really is a fantastic course with a myriad of real life application, this is especially true when real life includes a plethora of hours spent here at DP
