Huckabee likens gay marriage to incest, drugs, and polygamy

I'm not the querulous type. Anybody who can't see who Obama really is (a radical, elitist, pompous, mendacious, stealing, Know-Nothing-In-Chief) needs to invest in some Critical Thinking For Dummies.

Good luck on this forum, you'll need it. Bye.

You can dislike Obama, but you can't call him dumb. Bush was dumb.

Really? I call Obama a vapid empty suit. Luckily for him, the masses that kneel before him and swallow what he offers them dont care. I watch him try to string sentences together without a teleprompter and laugh my ass off. Obama failed as a college lecturer, failed as a community organizer, but hey, he is a 'clean and well spoken black person' and gives a speech that someone else has written well (as long as someone is feeding him lines. Yep...the stuff of intellectual giants.

And I'd put Bush up against...Oh...say...YOU any day...

Even if he was at the bottom of his class at Harvard Law, he was at Harvard Law. You? But hey, you're smarter than me and Obama, and you can see right through him.

No, you can't call him dumb. Not with any credibility. That's like calling him a commie or a secret Muslim - an absurd overreach that has sucked all the credibility out of his critics, like you.

Why dont you pit your credentials against Bush? That should be fun...

I don't go around claiming people who are obviously smart are dumb.

You don't have to like Obama, but come on, he's not stupid.

You mean like all of those he did before he was elected? :2wave:

Obama failed as a college lecturer

Which is little more then conjecture on your part.

failed as a community organizer

Which is little more then conjecture on your part again.

I dunno. I don't know anyone here who ran a successful sports team into the ground and then had to beg daddy to get his rich Saudi investor friends to take in on the chin for him. :rofl

I dont think his cred is all that different than Bush...which is why I made the post. Shockingly...you leap to criticize Bush but defend Obama...

Oh it's different.

Bush got an MBA, Obama a JD.
Bush ran businesses, Obama worked as a lecturer and a lawyer.

If anything, Bush's failures were well known before he was elected. Obama's weren't.

Nort conjecture...fact. he got his 'job' because of politics. Read some of the interviews with his fellow educators. And have you LOOKED at his communities that he 'organized'?

And we'll put you down as another muppet that swallows what you are fed like a good little boy. Notice...I am not defending Bush...I brought him up. But when you get your degrees at Yale and Harvard, make sure we all know about it! When you successfully run for governor anywhere...give us a shout. ANd apparently as 'dumb' as we was he danced cricles around all the democrat wunderkinds for 8 years...so what does that say about THEM.

And you.

Wipe your chin...you dribbled a little.

Interviews with fellow educators prove this? Quote them, with links. Are any of them in a position to know this with credibility? I seriously doubt it. They could be spewing the same conjecture you are. Pure gossip.

Get some actual evidence.

And we'll put you down as another muppet that swallows what you are fed like a good little boy.

Like vague claims that fellow educators said something once?

If anything, Bush's failures were well known before he was elected. Obama's weren't.

And yet, the American people almost elected him in 2000, and did reelect him in '04. That does kind of make you wonder, doesn't it?

His competition was a charlatan and a doofus. Not really tough.

Well, it would be nice to have a clear cut choice, instead of choosing the lesser of the evils.

Right now, it looks like we'll have a similar choice next time around, that is unless the Republicans can come up with someone better than what they have now.

Unfortunately, it appears that way. Palin or Huckabee would be toast. The GOP's only hope is a Jindalesque figure.

Yet, there must be hundreds of Americans who are rational, reasonable, and have demonstrated real leadership. Surely, someone could be recruited.

When Clinton was doing his Monica thing, I was sure we couldn't do any worse. When Bush was elected, I knew I was wrong. Obama has more going for him, but still is advocating a spending spree that we'll never be able to sustain.

It's time for a head hunter to make a search.

You mean someone like Jindal except with a hope of winning? Who would that be?

How about you support some of your claims?

Okay...doesn't make up for his running of the Rangers into the ground.

When you successfully run for governor anywhere...give us a shout. ANd apparently as 'dumb' as we was he danced cricles around all the democrat wunderkinds for 8 years...so what does that say about THEM.

8 years? Come again? What world do you live in? Bush barely won the 2004 election with one of the smallest margins in US history against arguably one of the worst candidates the Democrats have ever fielded in their history.

Bush should never have won either election. It was the Supreme Court, not the American voters, who put him in office the first time. The second time (2004) the election was so influenced by outright lies that a new political term was coined: "swiftboating".

The first time was just a cluster ****. No way around it, so I think we have to accept that one. But nothing was more disheartening than the swiftboating. I believe it hurt veterans both in the past and in the future. I don't believe you can really care about veterans and support the swiftboaters for untruth.

God Bless the Swiftboat men and the Medal of Honor winners who stood with them against that traitor John Kerry...........I believe they are one of the main reasons this aristocratic snob from the North East did not get elected......
