Talking about the Catholic church's behavior in regards to ongoing sexual molestation by police isn't "anti-Catholic hatred." It's factual and deserves to be discussed.

Interesting how your sympathy is all with the organization. For instance, you posted this story and said NOTHING about the victim. Your only point in posting it was, apparently, to defend the Catholic church. Pathetic. :roll:

Truthfully, it makes your cause look rather worse.

p.s. For the record, I don't judge the Catholic church because they've had sex offenders in their midst. Most entities that work with children have had issues with this as well. I judge the Catholic church because the hierarchy COVERED UP THESE CASES and refused to report them to the proper authorities.

I see where your going and I agree.....This is a society problem not just ministers, priests and coaches.......There are some people in DP that want to make it a Catholic Church problem only...They seem to hate the church when in fact only about 1% of the ten of thousands of priests have been accused or convicted which is probably about the same in the public sector.......

I am saying that the Catholic Priest situation has been blown way out of proportion by Catholic haters what 99% of all priests are involved inand that the innocent priests I know angonize over this situation......

So, are you saying that the leadership of the Catholic church DIDN'T cover this problem up and allow pedophile priests to create new victims? Are you suggesting that the Catholic Church handled this problem appropriately and reported these offenders to the proper authorities for prosecution?

It's not hate to point a finger at the leadership and hierarchy of the church for putting their image above the victims.

Actually, in many cases, the accused priests were moved into ministries where they would NOT be working with children anymore. In the Wisconsin case, which a lot of people in the US seem to be getting a hang up about, not only was the priest moved out of the ministry that gave him access, it was reported to civil authorities who DECLINED TO PRESS CHARGES!

Exactly and in a lot of cases there was no abuse, just some scumbag trying to make a buck off the church.....
