Mark my words: Obama would never do anything bipartisan unless he was getting something out of it. My best guess? He's doing it to get Republican support for Cap and Trade. :hitsfan:

Russia recently announced it was going to drill in the Gulf of Mexico.

It made Obama look stupid....again.

It's a game. We both lose when they both get "a little."

Cap and Trade is the worst idea since Al Gore decided to film An Inconvenient Truth and pretend it was a real documentary. Except, with Cap and Trade, we are forced to pay higher taxes based on false claims of global warming. Just because it's a "compromise" between politicians, doesn't make Cap and Trade the right thing to do.

This move gives the President the image of the bipartisan centrist. If you're looking for domestic oil, I wouldn't look here. Ain't happ'nin.

Yes, they're attacking a dude personally who made a joke. They really want to discredit the "Socialist Duo!" comment, because it was a serious blow to their political posturing.
