I can see that argument, but at the same accord I think the overall affect would be to restrict access to the court systems. Maybe if there was something reasonable, like if some lawsuit were completely outrageous like the pants thing that you could. But I'm not sure reasonable and government go well together.

Woah! Show me the trial results -- link, please? Did the SEALs allegedly punch this terrorist dirt bag who deserves everything he got, or is the trial still going on? If it's still going on, I hardly believe allegations of an act prove it to be a fact.

The trial is not about punching any one, the trial is about lying when questioned. There are I think 2 long threads on this very topic, please get your facts right.

So.... you're saying a person receiving allegations (ie. "accused") of doing something, all of a sudden they're guilty until proven innocent?

Gosh. I was so wrong to assume the SEALs were innocent until proven guilty!

Non of the Obama cases went to trial reports are Obama that spent over a million dollars to prevent that from happening, and even went so far as to change an Army Officers orders to avoid court.

This father may get justice from the Supreme Court.

The Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit of Shlameels has a long tradition of being over turned by the Supremes.

What I am saying is the case has already been resolved and some liberal judges reversed the decision........That should not have happened.........

I know. I get them too but that doesn't excuse insulting someone demanding they get better information when they told the truth.

So the question about who is accusing the Seals of lying is the question that needs to be answered.

Except Redress wasn't the one who brought the topic up in this thread. Red was talking about the actually topic at hand, it was Politics who brought up the whole SEALs thing. So don't go attacking Redress for sticking to the actual topic and tell Politics that if he wanted to talk about the SEALs then to start another thread. THIS one is about how the bastard Phelps harassed a poor father and because of it he has to pay the stupid court fees.

edit: That sounded a lot harsher than I meant it to. It is just this Phelps clan really pisses me off and I have a lot of personal stuff going on. So I apologize for that.

Right I get that, but I just feel like that topic shouldn't be anywhere close to this topic. Politics shouldn't have brought the topic up in the first place and then that whole thing wouldn't have happened. This is about the poor father who has already gone through enough pain and shouldn't have to deal with these stupid court fees.

Their right to protest is protected by the constitution. He should have picked up a copy of the constitution before he went around trying to bring even somebody as despicable as the Phelps family to court.

Speaking of never answering questions, where is your evidence that the judges are liberal in this case? Funny how you ducked that.
 
He may be ordered to pay and the court may have ruled in favor of these abominations of what they refer to themselves as "Christians." The court may have made a ruling, but justice was not served. These people had their "rights" to protest, but this was highly inappropriate for them to do. You can't really charge these people for crimes that they "technically" didn't commit under the law. However, you can protest their "church" and make their existence a living nightmare. This group does nothing but stir hate and cause trouble, they may be legal, but they aren't immune to protestors themselves.

Hmm, an anti-gay protesting at a fallen soldier's funeral. I thought the anti-gays where suppose to be the ones who say "shut up, don't ask questions, and support our troops?" :shock:
