Magnets Can Manipulate Morality : Discovery News

Using a powerful magnetic field, scientists from MIT, Harvard University and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center are able to scramble the moral center of the brain, making it more difficult for people to separate innocent intentions from harmful outcomes. The research could have big implications for not only neuroscientists, but also for judges and juries.

Fascinating. As we come closer to deciphering the working of the brain, experiments are going to come closer and closer to what we consider to be the soul. My personal question is how far is too far.

One thing is certain though. If we can ever resolve the workings of the brain and model it mathematically, we could begin to start answering questions like whether natural rights exist.

Perhaps the tinfoil hat types are correct after all (perhaps though they should use lead instead of tin foil)

Paranormal investigators have long said that Electromagnetic Fields (EMT) have a negative effect on peoples brains, even inducing paranoia, and much more.

I read about this on BBC I think. It sounds like the next date rape device to come...

I remember a few years ago, someone noticed that some people who were clinically depressed experienced an improvement in symptoms following a diagnostic MRI (for other diagnostic purposes). There were supposed to be some clinical trials to see if something in the magnetic field had an effect on neurotransmitter function (or something along those lines), but I never read a follow-up on the study.

I have worked with strong magnetic fields in my working life, I defy anyone to tell me I am not normal.
Hehe ho ho hahha hiha
