As you say, an interesting article.

It is impossible to imagine living in a world so bereft of contact with the outside world, and forcibly so. Especially under such a brutal regime.

There are places in the jungles of South America of people that have never seen a television before, but they are there on their own valition. North Koreans are living in a dark dungeon against their will.

The North Korean would no doubt welcome the death of Kim and those around him.

The crack down to come from Pyongyang will no doubt be bloody.

The spread of information among the people is the enemy of all dictators.

You did notice that Obama Pal Hugo Chavez is working to shut down all opposition, and there is a lot of talk here about doing the same or similar thing.

Dictatorships try to operate with impunity by using threats intimidation and propaganda through Government controlled of sympathetic Media.

Sound familiar?

seems no one told you that chavez was returned to office in a democratic, public election [and please note the source]:
Emboldened by a resounding re-election, President Hugo Chavez ...
FOXNews.com - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Re-Elected by Wide Margin - International News | News of the World | Middle East News | Europe News

or possibly, you did not intend to include mention chavez in a post about dictatorships

i keep looking for an advocacy by the right wing for war to topple this menacing dictator who oppresses the north korean people - using that same rationale which was neocon speak to justify the iraq war: to take out saddam

strangely (but thankfully), i don't hear it. apparently, that rationale was not a principled one

Some of you don't seem to be able to read and comprehend history and some make my point for me.

How did Chavez get re-elected ? He lied his ass off. Again sound familiar?

And as for Jetboogieman, your denial of the facts will not change them except in a delusional mind blinded by lies.

The only facts I have to dispute, are that Obama is somehow using Chaves like tactics to Silence desent? Dude, I don't know what you're smoking. But please tell me your dealer.

Lulz. Thanks for that; it was pretty entertaining, considering there was absolutely no substance to it whatsoever. Typical conservative vomit, but entertaining nonetheless.
