Bullet that hit Va. congressman's office random

Post hoc ergo propter hoc. All available evidence that has been looked at points to this being completely random. You coud just as easily say one of the other people who had an office in the Reagan Building could just have easily been "targeted" as well. The bullet did not go through Cantor's office itself but rather the building it was housed in.

I think its a bigger stretch to say that Cantor was specifically targeted. Think about it for a second this office has no markings showing that its Cantor's. Its not in his congressional district and isn't listed on his website. If someone was trying to "target" him why wouldn't they just go to one of the regular congressional offices of his.

All true and all good points, however I was simply commenting that to me it seems somewhat difficult to believe that this was a random accident.
