Open a newspaper or check out the internet. The content of their signs is widely available to anyone who wants to look.

The teabaggers destroyed the tea party movement for those who legitimately sought to influence the debate.

Yes, I have nothing against anyones rights to bear arms. I call myself a Progressive Libertarian because I'm a libertarian when it comes to social issues and a progressive when it comes to fiscal issues. I support ideas like Universal Health Care, Public Education, regulations on banks etc... but on the other hand still support pro gun laws, rights to abortion, gay rights, etc...

But that's a fiscal issue. I've admitted in my previous post that I'm liberal on those kinds of issues. You can still be both Libertarian and Liberal. They just demonized the word "liberal" so much that they make people think we want a government takeover of all the sectors of the economy.

In my opinion, and this is not an attack so forgive me if it seems that way. I fully believe as do most of us libertarians, that you can not be a liberal and a libertarian at the same time.

I only have that position on health care because many of us just can't afford to pay for the system we have now. UHC would put an end to health care just being a privlage or luxury and make it a human right. Something I believe it is and should be.

If you believe it is a "human right" that to is fundamentally opposed to what "natural rights" a tenent of libertarianism, is.

I see. But those are things I believe in too. I've always looked at libertarians as classic liberals and conservatives, But nowadays all that has died out and we're stuck with two parties who in a lot of cases continue to propetuate the problems we're dealing with instead of fixing them.
