House may try to pass Senate health-care bill without voting on it

This is the exact point that needs to be made.

Dems have a majority in the House and Senate.

Up until a month or so ago, they had a fillibuster-proof majority in the Senate. With the likes of Lindsey Graham around, they could still break a fillibuster if they had a halfway decent bill.

They can't pass this bill because there are Democrat legislators who won't vote for it.

Making it a partisan football and blaming the Republicans won't fly, sorry. Why aren't you blaming all the Dems who won't vote for it?

First bribery...now threats and coersion.

Here in Louisiana they can't actually ask you for your insurance in an emergency room until they've fixed you up. They can't turn you down. But then again, my friends appendectomy that consisted of a 1 hour laproscopic surgery and 1 night in the hospital cost right at 20000. They'll fix you up, to their credit, but then you file bankruptcy.

I read an article the other day that a lot of democrats don't want Obama to come campaign for them. They see him as doing more harm then benefit. So, this "threat" might not work out quite like he hoped.

That is NOT true. There was more contention among Republicans than Democrats in a Republican majority house towards that, a vote was taken, and the Republican majority voted WITH Democrats for Part D. It was a full vote.
