JFK tower allowed a kid to direct air traffic

I do not get the big deal. As others said it was take your kid to work day and you know the kiddo was right there with Daddy telling him what to say. Honestly how about giving thanks that a Dad gives a crap about his kid and took the child to work with him?

Also there is another case too where someone did exact same thing. I do not understand the outrage over a parent doing something fun and showing his kiddo they MATTER and now this. Un frigging real:(

Oh, so if a child doesn't go to work with his parents his parents somehow don't care?
Of if any parent brings their child with them to work then that means that the parent must care?

Bringing your children to work does not mean you let your children do your job for you. Nor does it make you a better/worse or more caring/less caring parent.

I'm imagining a world of anger from some ok-ers in this situation if we were discussing this coming from a fast-food drive-thru with a kid taking someone's order.

0_0. If I had to chose based on this one fact alone. Does this parent love/enjoy their kid more than the other parent. Based only on if one parent ever took their kid to work and the other didn't. I would have to make a choice and say its more likely that the one who took the time to show their kid their life might love/enjoy their kid more.

You've never heard of take your kid to work day?

I work from home most of the time, so my kid is always at my work place. But that is not what the point is. Just because I can bring my kid to work, does not mean I'll let her grab my work files and work on them. That is my job. She can sit quietly at a table and draw while daddy works. That is how I remember bring your kid to school day. It doesn't mater how you see this, it sounds like a cute idea but in practice it just isn't something people should do.
