"There was just too much going on about what the guy did and what he believed in, and enough's enough," he said. "They don't need to talk about him. Talk about my dad. You know, some people are trying to make this guy out to be a hero, a patriot. My dad served two terms in Vietnam. This guy never served at all. My dad wasn't responsible for his tax problems."

As terrible as this sounds, I haven't been interested in this story. People are calling someone who flies a plane into a building and kills at least one individual a "hero"? You have got to be kidding me. My heart goes out to this guy's family.

I don't care if someone wants to kill him/herself, but don't take others with you.

Exactly ive been absolutely disgusted by some of the comments on Digg regarding the Pilot Joseph Stack. Talking about how they sympathize with him a hes the hero. Stack was a coward who tried to defraud the system and got caught. All the excuses in his manifesto are after the fact. What a dickish move though to burn down your own house leaving your family homeless.

The hero here is the 67 year old Vietnam Veteran IRS employee who was killed by Stack's act of cowardice.

I haven't noticed anyone calling Stack a hero, aside from his daughter.

Try googling. His daughter is calling him a hero. There were 4 facebook groups that facebook had to shut down. The Patriot Movement. People are trying to downplay what he did.

What'd I just say about his daughter?

I grant you did not. I just thought I would quote another post of your s to share your wonderful thoughts on all this.

The IRS is worse than any greedy, fat-cat, foreclosin' banker ever thought of being. I think it's kinda ironic that the only IRS dude to get killed worked in debt collections. There's no telling how many people that bastard has put in the street over, "interest and penalties".
