Fox's 'Family Guy' takes on Sarah Palin by appearing to mock her son Trig's Down synd

Re: Fox's 'Family Guy' takes on Sarah Palin by appearing to mock her son Trig's Down

I didn't watch the episode...anybody mind telling me what jokes were made about the little boy with down syndrome?

Well, it did take a chick with down's and she commented that her mother was the former governor of alaska. it was a little below the belt, but it's also Family Guy so...

Re: Fox's 'Family Guy' takes on Sarah Palin by appearing to mock her son Trig's Down

Two things wrong with that leading question. First of all, you assume an equal response to Rahm and Family Guy is warranted. It's not.

Well obviously not. Because one response was brought out for political reasons. The other wasn't. Notice how tame Palin was in her response to the word "retard" when compared to her response on a joke directly "targeting" her son. She was calling for Rahm's head when all he said was that something was retarded. A lot of bitching but nothing else on jokes meant to go straight for her kids. QUITE TELLING Joey.

Yeah, that she knows where to attack and where to comment.

I guess you're right. It is okay to throw your kids under buses when the daily bread depends on it.

She never threw her kids under a bus. She came out fighting for them.

Hm. Don't you mean 'commenting for them'? When you fight, you attack. No teeth on that pitbull. Just a lot of barking and lipstick.

Umm yeh I can see where this is a problem, not that into family guy.
But now South Parks still ok RIGHT?

I think she was pretty unequivocal about her hostility toward Rahm for his gross unprofessionalism.

Re: Fox's 'Family Guy' takes on Sarah Palin by appearing to mock her son Trig's Down

That doesn't even make sense. Sympathy votes do not win elections.

Are you kidding? How do you think Obama got elected?

Specially not because people feel sorry that somebody is getting attacked. If that were true Ron Paul would have won the last election election hands down. And John McCain's sight alone would qualify him for President.

Wow do you underestimate white guilt. That's what put Obama in the White House.

Re: Fox's 'Family Guy' takes on Sarah Palin by appearing to mock her son Trig's Down

The Liberals never played the race card during the '08 presidential election? Not once?!?

You can bet you ass, that there were people that voted for PBO, just because they didn't want to hear the cries of, "racist", if he lost.

The only "victim" who gladly plays it herself is Palin. Yes, Obama supporters may have played the race card. Obama himself generally attempted to avoid it.

Palin, on the other hand, called every criticism "sexist". Let's not forget when Obama used the common phrase regarding lipstick on a pig, she immediately assumed that he was calling her a pig, because she had made a joke about lipstick. Even though, she was never referenced in his speech. Sexist!

Katie Couric asking her about magazines? Sexist! They're out to get her, that liberal media! (Never mind that that was probably the softest lob in the universe.)

She screams "I'm a victim!" with EVERY criticism.

Look at her barely-in-the-English language resignation speech. It was about what a victim she was. To put it more succinctly that she could (leaving out stories of moose and bad basketball metaphors): "I'm leaving because people said mean things about me."

You know who she most reminds me of? NY Governor Paterson. They both have to make HUGE public statements any time someone says something about them. This only gives credence to the critic. She doesn't know when to pick a battle. She tries to fight all of them.

You can think so all you like. If you want Obama back in office, then nominate Palin. She has too much baggage. Yes, she has rabid supporters. That's undeniable. But her negatives STILL are higher than Hillary Clinton's were before she ran.

Somebody is trying really hard. Don't you have some PETA thread to troll or something? No room for conspiracy theories here.

really? who? that's ridiculous, we don't publicly vote.

The level of denial by the Liberals is trully incredible...:rofl

It'd be nice to see some honesty here. You're claiming not one... not one person who voted in 2008 Presidential election voted the way they did for any other reason than above board political policy.

Part of your credibility is on the line here... at least with me.

What denial would that be?

When has Palin, "screamed 'I'm a victim'"?

Lipstick on a pig. Katie Couric Magazines. Resignation from Alaska.

You quoted all of those examples.

Fox's 'Family Guy' takes on Sarah Palin by appearing to mock her son Trig's Down syndrome

Will Sarah Palin now quit her job on FOX News as a result of this? Or will she demand that Family Guy be cancelled? I predict that this could go either way but I doubt she'll quit her job on FOX.

Umm, I think free speech is an issue here, as well as money being made. Sarah is being a bit whiney and "offended", and I'm getting a little tired of hearing about people being offended.

Didn't hear her say she is a victim. Wanna keep trying, or just admit that she never said anything of the sort?

Actually, what I got from that quote is: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but I'm gonna stick your own words right back in your dumbass face, mother****er"...:rofl
