I did the Pizza Hut Pasta Tues. deal and will take leftovers to work tomm. I cannot wait cause that pasta is pretty good for not having to cook. I may go in there and raid it now. :2razz:

Men joke about stuff. It's the one's who are joking about it you should trust, and laugh with. The ones who don't you should worry about.

If the victim demographic within a population chooses not to improve, then yes, you're right, someone is going to be raped.

You as an individual get to choose whether or not you're going to be that victim pool.

Sources provided indicate that taking away ease of access does in fact lower the chances of you being the victim.

This is the same principal my father taught me when I was 10 regarding locking my bike. I had a cheap, flimsy lock on a weak chain. If you wanted to, one good whack with a rock and that lock would fly open. Non the less, I was told to at least lock the front wheel to frame even if there was nothing to lock my bike to, because a lot of crime of various types can be detoured simply by making it inconvenient for the criminal.

Someone could pop the lock on my pos car if they wanted to, reach under the seat and find something well worth their effort. But simply putting items out of sight and locking the door deters a would-be thief. They could still do it if they wanted, and they know that, but simply making myself more trouble than they might want to put into the act works in my favor. If I left valuable items on the seat, then a criminal might decide popping the lock would be worth the effort.

Likewise, if you don't display your "goods" and stay sober and aware, your chances of being victimized are reduced. You don't have to be the fastest gazelle in the heard, you just have to faster than the slowest gazelle in the heard.
