It may have been made worse by His election, but there was a shortage in place well before -- so, right.

In Middletown ohio there is a company known as AIMSURPLUS. My wife and I have been dealing with them for a couple years because they are close to our house. They sell massive amounts of ammo at good prices. I bought a ton of stuff when I knew Obambo was going to win because he and his minions had called on tax increases on ammo. one of the shipping managers there also is the trap mechanic at my gun club. He said December 2008 was the best YEAR they had.

I went up there right after the election. A large number of pallets of eastern block 762X39 ammo. I think a pallet has around 25K rounds. All were sold within a day of them coming in.

Obama objectively did nothing to cause the huge run on ammo and guns (unlike clinton where the AWB caused people to buy millions of normal capacity magazines between the time the idiotic clinton gun ban was passed and when it went into effect-and makers put three shifts to work cranking out guns and magazines affected by that nonsense)

however, his election and the WELL FOUNDED FEARS about what the most anti gun ticket in history would do did cause alot of the run

The chinese Olympics caused ammo costs to increase as well as the PRC bought up lead and copper for infrastructure, batteries and other things. So did the war.

As Saint Ronnie would say, there you go again. Most antigun ticket in history? That's not true and you've been called out on it several times. Kerry/Edwards had more antigun votes. Clinton on his second run had already passed the Assault Weapons Ban and Dukakis claimed while governor that only law enforcement and military should have guns.

I think someone is trying to convince us Obama-Biden aren't gun haters. The only reason why the Obama-Biden clowns haven't banned guns is because they don't want to lose congress as Clinton did. Can anyone name two people who came into the Presidency and Vice-Presidency who had as long a history of gun hatred as those two clowns?

and by history I mean ACTUAL VOTES

Ban the sale or transfer of all forms of semi-automatic weapons.

Gun Haters? Prove they actually hate guns. Find me a statement where they say "I hate guns". Your over the top rhetoric is getting old. Ah yes they haven't banned guns because of congress. Paranoid much? Where did they say they were going to ban all guns? Statements please?

Again you're going over the top claiming a gun hatred. Once again the voting history of Kerry/Edwards is more anti gun than Obama/Biden. By history you mean actual votes which Kerry and Edwards had more against guns. But god forbid you actually make a cogent argument instead of saying something like "The most antigun in history", without actually proving it.

Once again Turtle was basing his "most antigun ticket in history" on their votes which Kerry and Edwards had more of.

Actually it is true-people like Obama don't hate guns. They hate the people who own them lawfully and vote against politicians who try to harass them.

The tragedy was caused because none of the victims were able to kill the attacker

laws that harass honest gunowners tend to create safe working environments for deranged killers

More over the top rhetoric. Show me a statement from Obama that says "I hate people who own guns lawfully."

The tragedy was caused because some nut opened fire on her colleagues. Alabama has a concealed carry law on their books. Any of those teachers could have carried guns. Your statements just dont have any basis in reality.

You never heard Obama saying he wanted to ban all guns. Prove that statement. Again I've posted both Kerry and Obama's gun records. Yeah but Kerry has more anti gun votes than Obama. But then you wanted to jump and say well Biden had more. So Biden and Kerry had the same amount just about and Edwards had more than Obama. Ah so youre going from something years ago that was a state issue and trying to make it federal. He also stated that it was up to the states and local governments to choose their gun laws. The brady center just gave him an F for his first year in office in regards to gun control. Despite your paranoia Obama has not taken away your handguns. In fact just this las year he signed a Reagan era repeal that originally kept loaded guns out of national parks. Signed a repeal of post 9/11 policies to keep guns out of checked baggage on amtrak.

Where is this great handgun ban you're clammoring about? The NRA and gun groups are always campaigning against democrats. They campaigned hard against Gore even when they gave him an A rating. Irrational fear and paranoia aside your statement that this was the most antigun ticket in history isnt supported by the facts. Just as your statement about him hating guns then just hating gunowners doesnt stand up to reality.

Not always -- they also campaign for Democrats and against Republicans.
The NRA is non-partisan, and supports candidates based on their voting record.

They campaigned hard against Gore even when they gave him an A rating.

The A-rating they gave him was wll before the 1992-1996-2000 election when his voting record earned him that A-rating. After that point, his record and his statements of public support changed, so he lost the A-rating and was rightfully campaigned against.
