Guards stand by during brutal attack

No, they were hired to do a job.

If they hire on a "security guards" and allow children to be viciously beaten in front of them, then they need to lay their detachable dicks on the rails to see how flat the trains make them.

Wow talk about exaggeration. Did you watch the video? Viciously beaten my ass. I saw worse beatings in 5th and 6th grade.

Most security guards are hired to observe and report, not get involved.

Speaking of 'dickless', read this:

"As what most would consider to be a 'Liberal White Metrosexual Man' I would like to point out the blatant racism in pre accusing the African American children accused of the 'supposed' attack upon the
commuter in the Transit Tunnel.
All too often we whites arrogantly prance around in front of inner city youth flaunting our wealth and social status while consistently denying them any chance of obtaining either.
It is our own white societies arrogance and false sense of superiority that continues to oppress and de-value that of black's.
As Social Studies professor I can assure you that I have been teaching society about this inequity for decades.
You wealthy whites must start giving more to inner city blacks. It's called atonement and it's the right thing for all of you to do.
"
:rofl..........................
This is the rank & file of Libtardistan......

No, this has nothing to do with anyone's penis. They need to update their intervention policy, unless there is a good reason to avoid conflict. Which they will probably do. But regardless, it was not the fault of the three guards in the area, it was the fault of whoever decided upon that policy, and our entire society that tends to let people get away with these things.

I can honestly say unless you are a police officer getting involved with any kind of trouble with minors is going to be bad news for you. Be it the parents, school, whatever.

Come on, kicking someone who is out cold in the head six times isn't viscious?......

She had her arms up. How is that "out cold?" :doh Assuming?

I wouldn't give a flying **** about any ****ing contract I may have, I would NEVER sit idly by and ****ing watch someone get the **** beat out of them, possibly fatally injured. NEVER. A ****ing piece of paper contract wouldn't stop me from being a compassionate human being.

**** those 'security guards'. I hope they rot in hell for being the bastards they are, contract or no contract.

Wonder if they have "Good Samaritan" Laws in that area? Hope so. Those guards need to be arrested. :(:(:(

Edit.....;)
Whatever, the point is someone should have interceded.....
& the girl was pretty much defenseless...

Good Samaritan laws do not apply in cases of assault etc. until afterwords. It is for rendering aid or medical aid in an emergency situation.

Yea have them arrested for doing nothing. That's the American way.

Yea, whatever. As I said unless you are a police officer. Getting in between fighting minors is bad business. You could end up like the guy who got shot for talking to the tagger, was even younger than the girls. Or sued by the parents or better yet arrested for assaulting a minor.

Would I have personally stepped in? Yes, but I have the training, and most of the time I am armed. I would not recommend your average citizen jump into a brawl.

Legally, you are correct...

Morally, I would consider you gutless, just like I consider them gutless, so join the club.......:thumbdown

Sometimes it is better to be figuratively gutless than literally gutless.

perhaps they should be renamed......security observers.

They have cameras and if passer bys see anything they can call the cops, so it doesn't make sense to have guards there to just observe and report.

I saw the video, and it was said that they were limited to observation only. I guess it reduces the cost of the contract.

Quite right. Most security guards are present purely for liability reasons, and aren't really supposed to "do" anything.

If they do, their employer will hang them out to dry so quick their head will spin. "Mr. So-and-so was not supposed to intervene or take action, so any damages caused by him is not the responsibility of Guards-R-Us."

Protect yourself.

First you cut out half my post, than you have the nerve to call a 12 year Army Veteran and an ex-police officer gutless?

:lol::lol::lol:

It's all up there for all to see, I just thought better of it after I typed it & retracted it too late.......;)
As to the second part, there are obviously two camps here....
One side, 'cover your ass' gutless (IMO) cowards, & those who would stand up to protect the weak, regardless of the consequences.....
I've heard it said that heroes run to the fire, cowards away from it.....
We makes our choices & we lives with 'em....
That is all......;)

Given my views, I really shouldn't give a ****, strangely I do & am baffled by it.......

Does not make anyone gutless. I don't even think you really know the meaning of the word. "Fools rush in where angles fear to tread" comes to mind.

As a police officer I will say AGAIN, you should not be getting involved with minors fighting unless you are familiar with the people involved or have the proper training. Otherwise chances are you will find your self in a much worse situation either legally or from the assailants, period.

Nothing gutless about protecting your own ass.

there was no threat of grievious bodily injury by the vandal until he was interrupted. Left alone, no one would have gotten hurt. There was no urgency.

The child victim in this case was in dire need of assistance and intervention. Three adults with "Security" in their jackets would have provided more than enough force and authority to end the confrontation.

Probably because it was a young girl. It is an American male thing.

Don't mess with the women folk.

Yes, that's why the SWAT team at Columbine High School stayed out in the Parking lot while Harris and Klebold had a free field of fire with no opposition.

Those brave SWAT teamers.

How impressive.

So what if 17 children were murdered, there's nothing gutless about staying outside with your guns and body armor while waiting to define what the children's conflict is all about.

I watched the video, there was nothing "dire" about it. It was 2, 15 year old girls fighting.

The security guards did the right thing.

This highlights your ignorance about law enforcement.

Lets say the police go in blasting, no information on who or what is going on inside. Yea, that would have made things so much better.

I don't even know why I am bothering. It's obvious you really don't know anything about law enforcement.
