It's a different table in my view, but that's okay. They're at the table anyway. They sit on a rather large pool of oil.

I disagree, the Chinese sit at the table and break all kinds of human rights.I think we act a bit myopic to suggest that Iran wants to sit at the table with the US. The ruling administration knows that their repression of human liberties is all over the front-page news. They know that regardless of what ever they pull from their sleeves the US will only reject their attempts because the Iranian regime is seen as juxtaposed to the very foundational morals of the US.
I suspect that the Iranian leaders are trying to coalesce its people, though in an almost amusingly feeble attempt. Iranians and their regime agree that the country should be allowed to right to nuclear energy, in whatever form it may take (though there seems to be, from the Green perspective, a tendency to differ from the ruling regime on the role the Western world is to take in talks of nuclear capabilities).
Nobody wants to do anything to North Korea. That's the point.
Hell, Pakistan can shelter OBL, route terrorists to Afghanistan to kill your countrymen, and not a bloody peep about invasion.
I wonder why.....
God bless the Iranians and their nukes

I bet you'l be cheering the nuclear rubble of Tel Aviv that would follow the success of Iranian Nukes too.
See, for you and the others with the "why can't they develop Nukes too" silliness.. The Iranian's aren't lead by sane folk, they show every indication of having the desire, and the ability TO USE said weapons offensively.
you say they exist where are they since you know they exist you must know exactly where they are
Better selectively than randomly. It's not our place to selectively crush dictatorships.
And if they werent there?
Go into Jordon
How about admit what the British government has,
There wasnt any
Non-interventionism is one thing, wishing for your enemy to achieve equal capabilities is another.

That's not an alternative.better yet to let those who are subject to the yoke of the dictator rise up on their own to bring about needed internal change
"the will of God is set for an end to the oppression in the region and the defeat of the hegemonic powers. Israel is going downhill toward decline and fall and God willing its obliteration is certain"
That kinda of thinking lead to WWII...
As if you are able to tell the result of a non-existing historic event. As if the US of the 30's had the ability to crush either Germany or Japan before they started their invasions. All we would've done would be to precipitate an earlier start for WWII.

Because it's not like it was the 30's and Hitler was the great fuhrer of the third Reich, speaking of world dominance.Since we're playing the hindsight game, why didn't President Cleveland send a hit team to Austria to kill Hitler's father before Hitler was conceived?
