Iran Moves Closer to Nuke Weapon Capacity

Possession of nukes seems to be the only insurance other nations have to prevent the US from invading their territory.

****** This is a massive Historical distortion. It stems from a malady called ThirdWorlditis. No known Cure except for gorging on Wine & Cheese.

you compare obama to bush?

LOL!

now there's some real CHANGE the memory-challenged can believe in

So far, Bush is worse. Give him time and maybe Obama will catch up ;)

bush is worse

LOL!

don't try that defense in court

That's one less than Bush started.

Oh look, another Bush reference...from CR.

Lil obsessed are we?

I truly believe the 4th of July should occur in Natanz, Iran this year. Fireworks, rockets red glare, and glowing uranium to take back home and cook our hot dogs/warm our buns.

... nuclear power is a natural acquisition in the technological development of human societies. Wanting to stop Iran from achieving it is like trying to stop evolution.

Unless they are a protectorate, any sufficiently prosperous society will eventually achieve nuclear capability.

Right.

Iran wants a nuclear bomb, and the damn fools think if they call it "nuclear power" everything will be all better.

The only way to permanently stop Iran from achieving nuclear capability is to defeat them in a war and occupy them, which would years, cost lots of money, and require millions of draftees to be effective.

is that the only thing you can think of?

To keep them from building nuclear bombs?

How about blow them back to the stone age and don't occupy them?

An atom bomb ain't like a pipe bomb, you know.

Iran can't produce enough nukes to threaten the existence of human civilization.

Once again, Iran's government has invested a considerable portion of their revenue over the last couple decades into modernizing their economy and improving prosperity. The idea they are willing to "suicide bomb" their country to hurt the West is not a very sound theory.

Iran's government, while tyrannical, cares far more about Iran than the Palestinians and Israel.

Iran needs two nukes to achieve it's goal.

One for Jerusalem, one for anyone that protests too much.

What does the United States and the rest of the world do when a mushroom sprouts over one of the oldest cities in the world?

After Isreal expends it's arsenal...and that response will NOT be limited to Iraq, then what, with Mecca, Riyadh, Messina, Tehran, and Damascus shooting skyward, what?

open call for a nuclear iran

a position just a shade shy of obama's

the most incompetent politician at the national level america has ever produced

No, it's still not certain that he's displaced Carter. He's only been polluting the office for a year, there's certainly going to be some situation in the next three that will confirm your conclusion, but to date, not quite yet.

Maybe Iran is planning to conduct a nuke test during the anniversary of their revolution. Maybe that's the big "punch" to the West they're talking about.

Don't you worry none. The Messiah has everything well in hand.

If Iran explodes a nuclear bomb, the Messiah will Blame it on Bush!

Then we'll be safe.
