Rep. John Murtha, Iraq war critic, dies at 77 (not a [r.i.p] thread) be warned

So many veterans. So many blind men and women who wouldn't recognize integrity if it bit you on your ass. Murtha may have been no different a politician than the rest of them but, he was a man of honor. When Bush's lies to go to war were exposed Murtha had the balls to stand up and tell the truth about what was really happening in Iraq. He loved the military and America enough to pull the curtain aside exposing to all of us some very ugly **** that was going on, no matter how much landed on himself. Instead of embracing the truth and dealing with it, many of you cowards continued with your lemming roles and did what Bushies do best when confronted with the truth... attack the messenger. Many of you found that it isn't easy to tell the King he has no clothes.

To you neanderthals who believe "if you don't support the war you don't support the troops" and denigrate such a courageous man, if you are serving now you should get out because you don't get it. If you're already out, I'm glad I didn't have to serve with you. If you never served, I don't care what you think.

It's not always easy to do the right thing.

R.I.P. John Murtha.
One helluva man!

 Yes,Murtha loved the Military so much that he lied and slandered it for political purposes

Murtha was a crook a liar and a traitor to to this country.............

So perjury and obstruction and losing the law license are nothing and not important?

Depends. Are you talking about the outing of an undercover CIA agent or are you talking about an extramarital blow-job.

On things that have serious impact on our National Security, I say go after them with full force, Democrat or Republican.

On things that are really of no concern to the general public. I saycut the bull****, with full force, Democrat or Republican.

 Yes,Murtha loved the Military so much that he lied and slandered it for political purposes

He slandered a few soldiers involved in a highly sensitive case. Not the military. Let's keep it realistic shall we.

remember DD:

Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor.........

caught again in a lie.......:rofl

What was the lie Navy?

Have you been following along? I don't think so...... You can tell by the fact that you tried to post a link that argued exactly opposite of your contention (you actually have a habit of kicking yourself in the butt...you'd think you'd learn by now....but Republicans generally don't learn from their past mistakes..they just keep making the same mistakes over and over....kinda like you Navy.... :doh

Yet it was Armitage that was the leak not Libby. Armitage was not charged. Explain the justice

So Perjury and Obstruction by the commander in chief is ok and setting a good example for the rest of the country.

How about the other 10 women Clinton raped an and assaulted.....

Wow....Navy...it just occurred to me how close you and Clinton are:

You both are unable to control your hormones...something to which you admitted and Clinton demonstrated.

You both committed adultry.
Wow....I bet that kinda hits close to home...doesn't it.

But Libby was the one who obstructed justice. That was my point. Obstructing justice about a blowjob or obstructing justice about a treasonous act.....which has more effect on National Security interests of the U.S.?

Hmmm, was that husband in the military?

You make no sense. It was Armitage yet Libby is the scapegoat. way to go democrats.

Gumbo don't have figs.

I know it don't, but I thought that since you're more black than I am, you would know all about how to fix a gumbo. Reckon you ain't as into your blackness as you thought.

You make no sense. It was Armitage yet Libby is the scapegoat. way to go democrats.

No....follow along. It makes complete sense. No one said that Libby was the leak...but he definitely obstructed justice.....

How many times has Clinton been convicted of rape and/or assault? None? Okies Dokies.

How many times has OJ been convicted of murder?

Okies dokies.

Just because a guy isn't found guilty in court doesn't mean he didn't do it.

He slandered a few soldiers involved in a highly sensitive case. Not the military. Let's keep it realistic shall we.

He also accused the Military of covering the incident up.

Oh puh-lease. There have NEVER been allegations of sexual assault with Monica. It was a consensual act.

Oh pul-LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEzuh!

The federal sexual harassment law that pervert himself signed into law made it a crime for him to assualt that bimbo in that fashion.

and forgive me for laughing hysterical....but I suppose you think it is fine for a President to lie about justification to start a war with a country and to mislead the American public...

No.

I'm not a stupid hypocritical liberal socialist.

hmmmm....a blowjob v. a war that has killed thousands of Americans and non-Americans.....

POINT OF FACT:

The Pervert Between the Bushes was in fact getting a knobber from his chubby cumsucker while he was on the telephone discussing the potential deployment of troops in Kosovo.

And, yes, his refusal to step down for the good of the country prevented the Chief Executive from performing his functions to the best of his limited ability and it can be construed, that since the Clinton Administration did in fact warn Bin Laden, via a telephone call to his friends in Pakistan, that a missile or too was coming to his vacation tent, that he bears more than incidental guilt in the crimes that were committed on September 11, 2001.

Those missiles were sent to punch up some headlines on the day his chubber chicken choker was going to have a press conference to discuss her grand jury testimony.

Although I strongly disagreed with Murtha and I really didn't like him as a person, I don't believe in speaking ill of the dead.

I don't believe in LYING about the dead.

Drunken Teddy was a murdering philandering socialist alcoholic that did way too much damage to the United States.

Murtha was an evil opportunistic corrupt congressmen who saw no problems with bad mouthing the men charging with protecting the freedoms of this country, if doing so would garner some headlines and favorable press in the left wing media.

Those missiles were sent to punch up some headlines on the day his chubber chicken choker was going to have a press conference to discuss her grand jury testimony.

Think for yourself much? Those missiles were an effort to kill the man responsible for planning 9/11... before 9/11! Had dumbo put that much effort into allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the warnings he had been given he just might have prevented 9/11. Had he wanted to prevent it, that is!. But you go on believing what your cowboy orders you to.

I would rather my President be overloaded with hormones and brains than be deficient in brains... and patriotism... and integrity... and honor... and... oh hell, I'm not gonna list all the qualities dubya lacked.

No....follow along. It makes complete sense. No one said that Libby was the leak...but he definitely obstructed justice.....

So it wasn't about the leak or outing a CIA person it was getting Cheney. That is abuse of power and using the justice system for personal revenge. Good going Democrats

I saw the same thing happen back in the Gengrich/Starr/Neo-con era.

I never the lying sack of ****. He protested our troops on foreign soil, and filled his pockets with pork for 30 years. I mean look at the fat ass. The liberals, even those who haven't given the son of a bitch a second thought for years, are now coming out to feel sorry for the bastard.
