Edwards admits he fathered videographer's child

I have kinda lost any respect I ever had for him.

It is hard to say. Really can't imagine him coming back into the main stage of things.

But we continue to be jaded about everything anymore. I picture some day not too far in the future when a politician will be caught with sheep in his hotel room and we just shake our heads and just say his personal life has no bearing on his job performance.
 
I think we all knew Edwards was the baby's father - no surprise there. But I didn't know about this stuff:

In an interview with ABC's "20/20," Young detailed what he claims was an elaborate effort by Edwards to conceal the fact that he had fathered a daughter while campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination and while his wife was battling breast cancer.

"The senator made the full pitch," Young said. "Not just for me. I mean he didn't just have to convince me that I was going to take paternity. He also had to convince Rielle that she would publicly claim that I had been the father."

Young said Edwards asked him and his wife, Cheri, to steal one of his daughter's soiled diapers as part of a DNA strategy.

"Get a doctor to fake the DNA results," Young said Edwards told him. "And he asked me and Cheri to steal a diaper from the baby so he could secretly do a DNA test to find out if this [was] indeed his child." --ABC News - 20/20

She wanted to be first lady worse then he wanted to be president. I've heard she's a piece of work.
 
Some conservatives are just classless. Edwards is the one that cheats and those few conservatives attack his wife. How low.
