After diplomatic crisis, Turkey and Israel to test relations with Israeli Minister's visit - Hurriyet Daily News and Economic ReviewTurkey accepts an apology issued by Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon under pressure from Israeli President Shimon Peres after Ankara threatens to withdraw its envoy. Turkish President Abdullah Gül's stern warning early Wednesday is also said to have accelerated Israeli dispatch of the letter
Though the 48-hour crisis triggered by Israel’s undiplomatic treatment of the Turkish ambassador ended with an apology from Tel Aviv being deemed satisfactory by Ankara, relations remain unsettled between the regional allies.
The first critical test for the two countries will be a scheduled visit to Turkey by Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak, who favors mending ties.

While i will continue to advocate strong brotherly Turkish-Israeli ties, this has seriously harmed my thoughts on Israel and the current governments ability to conduct mature, diplomatically legitemate methods of mending ties with Turkey.
