VP Biden's 92-year-old mother dies

As someone who lost his mother this year, too, I know it doesn't matter how old you are -- it's still a tremendous loss. My sympathies to the VP.

At least she was able to see her son to become VP and lived a long life.

I doubt anyone would be low enough to trash this thread.

That is a long life and quite the fruitful one to see her son be a prominent Senator, long-time runner for President, and perhaps close his political career as Vice President of the United States. I would sure hope she felt her life was fun and meaningful and filled with pride.

RIP Mrs. Biden.

Biden has also lost a wife and daughter in his life. I wish him the best, but I am sure that he will not be mourning his mother. He will celebrate the great life she had, along with the great values she instilled in her children.

I was about to ask cause I thought she was dead already. Then realized it had been his wife and kid who had died. Shame.

As little respect as I have for the man and his ignorance, my heart goes out to him and his family today. May they take comfort in her living a long a fruitful life.

Rest in Peace Mrs. Biden!

92 years is a long life indeed, I hope that she was proud of her son. My heart goes out to the Biden family today.

:peace

What a nice, for lack of better word, end she had seeing her son become VP. I wonder what that must be like.

Hearing the campaign speeches about her, she sounded like a lovely woman. R.I.P.

To bad , she had a good long life , I hope she went peacefully.

I was saddened to hear that she passed. But I am happy that she saw her son achieve something extraordinary. What that must be like.
