3 Democrats Drop Plans to Seek Re-election

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't 6 republicans stepping down?

This election had nothing to do with the economy. It was based solely on skin color, Oprah, and the momentum of a clueless group of people who slept through past elections but wanted to make history, go to a big party, and buy the concert T-shirt.
lets see...nope, didnt vote for him because of skin color....don't watch oprah, not clueless and voted in 5 previous presidential elections...didnt go to any party, and didnt get the concert t-shirt......

Boy, did you ever miss the boat.

And you berate others for a lack of historical or civic knowledge.

That was exactly what put him over the top. The truth isn't always in a nice little PC package, but it is what it is.

To understand that you have to understand the most pressing issue at the election period - the economy. Intelligent people understand the economy runs off confidence, hence the educated decision is to vote for the confidence booster.

No they seen Bush as the GOP party so it was not a vote for Obama it was a vote against Bush

Is it because they have bad polls or can't win the election like the democrats?

While I agree it does not seem like we put a confidence booster in office. Earlier in the year when things looked bleak, Obama was pretty much screaming the world is ending but it isn't my fault, blame Bush. Even today when he spoke about his green jobs initiative when speaking about jobs he had to reference our worst quarter of job loss and how we are not so lousy now.

We need a forward looking leader, not a whoa is me look at the terrible problems I inherited, no one can fix this stuff.
