Having worked in Nigeria for a number of years and having used the various Airports within that country, I can state with absolute certainty that by placing 1000 Naira in ones passport before handing it over to the officer, one could get almost anything through a checkpoint.
Nigeria is probably one of the most corrupt nations in the world.

How dare you say one bad word against this lovely country or pure people. They have awarded me no less than 20 million dollars in lotto winnings, abandoned bank accounts in just this past year.

If they were corrupt they wouldn't have notified me about winning contests I never entered or inheriting money from relatives that don't exist, They would have kept it for them selves.
