Father of Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, Nigerian terror suspect in Flight 253 attack, w

Re: Father of Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, Nigerian terror suspect in Flight 253 attac

Which is why I said - 'pathetic'.

A 62 year old Canadian woman in a wheelchair is more of a threat than an adult male where intelligence knows of his religious extremism.

Only in America.

That goes to expose the problems with the system, that I've already mentioned.

Re: Father of Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, Nigerian terror suspect in Flight 253 attac

The TSA is pulling old white ladies in wheel chairs out of line and searching them so as to appear to be fair. That is BS. Since you seem to have a problem with America maybe you should consider one with less freedom such as Saudi Arabia, Yeman, Somolia, Iran, or Pakistan.

They were driving from Canada towards Detroit at the time. There entire luggage was searched (only contained clothes, jewelry, and other living essentials).

And where did you get that she was white? :rofl

Am I not allowed criticize my country's actions? Instead I should live somewhere else? Typical right-wing response.

I never said you should live somewhere else. I said you should consider a country with less freedom (think about those countries and there lack of freedom compared to the USA). And I wasn't refering to your aunt when I brought up TSA searches at airports. I was simply pointing out how political correctness determines how the TSA operates.

So by criticizing my country's actions you think I should consider a country with less freedom. Typical right-wing response.

The TSA had nothing to do with what I was talking about. I was referring to the CBP. Obviously political correctness has no bearing in the way the CBP operates.

No one said anything about racial profiling. We were talking about profling, period. Not just based on race.

Just setting the record straight.

So because the morons in charge of running this program are too stupid to do their job, you think the solution is to give them more power and pretend like that will solve the problem?

Typical big-government liberal response.

No, I'm talking about changing SOP's.

You're making the the typical Libeal response by posting comments that I didn't make.

Re: Father of Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, Nigerian terror suspect in Flight 253 attac

What do you suggest we do? Install mind reading machines at the gate?

No. I find that idea disturbing at best. I don't understand it. When the Feds try to rule on Health Care Conservatives scream that our rights are being swept under the rug. Yet those same Conservatives turn around and are willing to give the Feds to arrest anyone "suspicious" and claim that it's in our general interest.

No one's talking about arresting anyone. I'm only suggesting that people who fit acertain profile be looked at alot closer.

When you stop someone with any form of authority, at an airport for example, it is arresting.
Hasan displayed plenty of warning signs. But, everyone is so damn afraid of being labeled a racist, that no one had the guts to say anything.
Who was damn afraid?

Re: Father of Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, Nigerian terror suspect in Flight 253 attac

We don't need racial profiling. What we need is law enforcement, intelligence, and command staff who are actually willing to take tip offs seriously.

Racial profiling could have been a last line of defense. Of course we don't need it... in fact, let's throw out a few more lines of defense to make flying more interesting... and put that money towards government health care. Because...

...we need government health care. My... what a Bang! up job they are going to do for us.

Just think, our intel services have some of the very best and brightest. You think that's what we'll get running guh-ment health scare? LOL.

Can't wait.
