And, no, I don't agree that racial profiling is counter productive. On Septemeber 11th 2001, some racial profiling would have saved thousands of American lives. Hurt some one's feeling, or save 3,000 lives? Not much of a brain teaser making that choice.

Have you not been reading the predictions for the next large-scale, well planned, al-Qa'ida attack and how it is not going to be an Arab Muslim, and probably a caucasian muslim?

You suck at these scare tactic-inferencing. You're old fashion with the bias based on skin-color, and ethnicity. You need to take a page from the great greats of the Presidency,

Al-Qa'ida is the new fluoride-inthewatersupply, and doesn't require a physical connection.

Ever think that AQ might want you to think that the next major terrorist attack will be carried out by caucasian Muslims? In warfare, that's called a, "false flag", or a, "feint". It's purpose to deceive your opponent into thinking you're going to do something you aren't.

And as was pointed out to you already, groups like Al-Qaida have long moved past sending out terrorists who match the description of what amateurs such as yourself would consider "muslim terrorists." The groups rely on reactions such as yours to provide them cover when they send out individuals who are shaved or otherwise non-traditional in appearance.

But hey, rather than think logically about that, let's just interrogate all the middle eastern browns. God knows that good old whites like these won't cause any problems:

Back to airline security: The wife and I just flew to Florida and will fly back home in a few days. We forgot to take some liquids that were in baggies out of one of our carry-ons. We were never challenged nor were they found. If this is a pattern our airline security may have gotten lax again. I saw this at a certain time period after Lockerby. I'm hoping today's incident is a wake up call.

First...they would have to find lighter skinned Muslims who are willing to throw their lives away and commit suicide for a fantastical belief of reward. And since the vast majority of all suicide bombers look absolutely like Arabs, Al-Queda's job would be far than "extremely easy." The point is to make it harder than easier and throwing out the red carpet to all obvious Arabs so that we can pretend to be "better than them" is plain stupid.

If they don't like it, then we can direct them towards their own heritage and culture. And if they don't like this then they can be directed to deal with it within their culture rather than getting angry at those that are merely trying to keep their own alive.

Of course, that's just the Jarhead in me looking after my own. My own seem to rather be destroyed these days than to "look bad."

I like Old Fashion Apple Pie. I prefer to make my own bread, the old fashion way (no machines). I like to consider myself a member of my State before a member of the United States, etc.

Al Qa'ida is no longer a cancerous tumor on the side of Afghanistan and Pakistan. It can affect any and everyone. To expect that the Al-Qa'ida influenced lone-wolf (which is probably what this guy is) is going to be wearing a long beard, with his hijab dressing in accordance with Wahab Islam is to underestimate the enemy.

2004 Russian Terrorist Attack was not the work of Arabs.

If you notice,

I was saying that I don't think "Old Fashion" is wrong. What you support isn't old fashion. If you recall, there was very little prejudice before the neo-liberalism of Bush infected the White House.
