Actress Brittany Murphy has died, according to the Los Angeles coroner's office.

The 32-year-old actress, who starred in "Clueless" and with Eminem in "8 Mile," was declared dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to Selena Barrows, an investigator with the coroner's office.

"We have a preliminary death report of someone with the name of Brittany Murphy," Barrows told TheWrap. The report came from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

I bet it's either drugs,anorexia....Or both.
 
Full cardiac arrest it says on Wikipedia. Either it's something she was born with or drugs.
 
She died from cardiac arrest while vomiting in the shower. Brittney was bulimic.

My daughter has been strugling with bulimia since she was 16. She turns 29 on Christmas and I just got off the phone with her. I told her about Brittney. I told her that I loved her and I didn't want this to happen to her. She is very thin now. She knows that if she dosn't stop this is going to kill her. She made an appointment for the Renfrew Center for the first week of January. I pray that it works. :(

She was in Clueless, 8 mile, Just Married, Sin City, The Dead Girl, Deadline and many more. Her acting career in 1991 at the age of 14.

She most likely had a severe electrolyte imbalance if the above is true. Apparently she was also rumored to be into crack and meth.
 
I never heard of this lady before. It's a shame a person has to die before I hear of them. I just looked her up on IMDB, and I haven't seen any of her movies. She had quite a history of films behind her, though.

I hope your daughter will be alright. How frightening.

Brittany Murphy looked so different these last few years than she did in Clueless. I was sort of wondering what was up.
 
If she was anorexic it is possible for her death to be from natural causes. Here is an excerpt from Karen Carpenters bio about her death

On February 4, 1983, she (Karen Carpenter) went to her parents' house to sort through some clothes she kept there when she collapsed in a walk-in closet from cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead on the spot. She was only 32. Doctors revealed that her long battle with anorexia nervosa had stressed her heart to the breaking point.

Yeah, the title is ironic.

It's actually a very good, if grim, movie. Murphy did a great job with it.

My daughter and I really liked her, Clueless is one of our favorite movies.
