New Poll shows Tea party more popular than Republican Party

Prove it. I've proven my point, you have yet to prove a single thing.

:rofl

I think you've just shown why I'm wasting my time here.....

Peperoncini are a variety of the species Capsicum annuum, like bell peppers and chili peppers. They are also known as Tuscan peppers, sweet Italian peppers and golden Greek peppers.

Bwa ha ha ha ha

You are dismissed...
you are wasting your time because nobody buys your "proof". just because she mistook pepperoni for pepperoncini is not a reason to discount her.

i used to do that all time......whenever whole chickens were on sale, i always bought the limit (usually 3) and cut them up myself. we didn't have too much money back then......

I have lots of money these days. I still do it. Though i buy fresh kill hens from a local farm. ;)

Yeah, peppers and pepperoni look just alike... :rofl

I've posted nutritional info from the Mayo clinic and from several nutritional web sites. If you don't believe them, that's your problem.

good for you! i'm willing to pay a little more for free time these days.

I can butcher a whole chicken in under a minute... Im for making good time, the emphasis on good. A fresh killed hen, butchered yourself. Tastes oh so much better.

I know what you are saying though. Since the birth of my son. Its been fast cooks. ;)

did you post a link?

several.......
you did.....and i went to one of them. doesn't seem to WORK unless you join. i'm jst telling you that no way does 1 chicken breast and greens, olives and 1 ounce of dressing = 3 620 calorie meals.

one ounce of grilled chicken (skinless) = about 20 calories.

I didn't join anything and I obviously looked at them.

Here's one I didn't see before:
Grilled chicken salad with buttermilk dressing - MayoClinic.com

and the original one I posted:
Caesar salad with grilled chicken - MayoClinic.com

this discussion has been going on so long that I can't even remember what I've posted. But I do know that our company Christmas part is this weekend, I leave in 30 minutes, and won't be back to this thread again.

One ounce?? Typical serving is 4 oz.

So would a baked potato with butter:

How does a textile industry crush a plantation industry?

And this would have led to civil war?

In a word yes because of the different Tariffs that the Federal Govn. placed on goods.

I suggest you do some study on the Tariff of 1828 also know in the South as the Tariff of Abominations.

Basically here is what the tariff set out to do,

The goal of the tariff was to protect industry in the Northern and Southern United States, which were being driven out of business by low-priced European and particularly British manufactured goods. This prompted the U.S. to put a tax on imported goods. The South, however, was harmed by having to pay higher prices on goods the region did not produce. By reducing the importation of British goods, it also made it difficult for the British to pay for the cotton they imported from the South. The reaction in the South, particularly in South Carolina, would lead to the Nullification Crisis that began in late 1832.

Like I stated in an earlier post it's was all about the Money yes Slavery was a major part of how the Civil War started.

Not much per calorie. ;)

That's not really the point. I never said you couldn't feed three kids in an economical way. In fact, I argued exactly the opposite. You CAN feed three kids a healthy, balanced, nutritional meal in an economical way (without throwing in random teaspoons of peanut butter!).

HOWEVER, Gill is FOS with his bag of greens and a chicken breast feeding three kids a healthy, nutritional, balanced meal for three bucks.

Disneydude at least admitted you could feed three kids a healthy meal for less than ten bucks.

Not ole Gill. He's sticking to his one dollar's worth of chicken, two dollars worth of salad greens, and twenty-five cents - combined - worth of olives, salad dressing, and peppers. Three dollars, twenty-five cents total.

Absolute horsehockey. Any reasonable person would concede an error, or misstatement.

This is absolutely, totally FALSE. Where do you come up with this wild stuff.

Anyone can give money directly to any candidate for federal office, no matter what party they are in, or if they are with no party. Go look at the contribution reports at Federal Election Commission Home Page and see for yourself.

You have some serious, serious problems with basic facts dude.

Did you read what I typed ??? I never said anything about Federal Office I said Local And State Office in Maine and a few other States only Federal Req. Party you can give money to.

You didn't say they discussed it - big deal, anyone can discuss something. You said they "called for" freeing slaves. Bull. They did no such thing.

Really have you every read any of the Minutes from the Virgina House on the day of the Fort Sumter Attack a Bill was read in Chambers to discuss this very item it never got to a full vote do tot he fact of the Fort Sumter Attack.

Then why were our founding fathers members of political parties?

Really so what Party did the Following Founding Fathers belong to then.

George Putnam,John Jay,Patrick Henry,Ethan Allan,Henry Knox,George Washington,John Adams,Thomas Stone,William Whipple,James Otis Jr.,John Penn,Rufus King,Samuel Adams,Samuel Chase,Richard Basset.

Shall I go on these are one's I can recall off the top of my head. None of them belonged to any Political Party as a matter of fact Sam Adams and John Jay want to make it part of the US Constitution to out law Political Partys.

This is correct. It was introduced by a member of the Virginia House representing Charleston, VA - part of what become West Virginia later in the war. I should be able to rip out the name but I am having an 'old fart' moment and too lazy to look it up. It was an attempt to keep Virginia from talking about seccesion by having the state voluntarily remove the friction with the Union. Western Virginia residents lived in a rural and mountainous area that did not lend itself to agricultural endeavors and thus no slave owners. Which is why they ended up seceding from the rest of the state and applied for statehood to the US.
