Sarah Palin says US should rededicate itself to God

Therein lies one of the reasons the left is so afraid of Sarah Palin. She wants to get back to the fundamentals of God and how this nation was founded, something the progressive left wants nothing to do with.

Wants a nation to rededicate itself to God? Stop her now! She is dangerous!!!!!!!

God or if you prefer Allah should not have to enter the political picture for a Nation so succeed. What our Nation currently lacks is fundamental honesty, and people in positions of authority with moral standards that should be the hallmark of public service.

Today everything is about them vs us rather than what's right vs what's wrong because for too long those with a moral compass that properly functions have allowed themselves to be pushed aside by people who claim to be infavor of such things as human rights when truth is they only care about what they themselves want or can take from others.

It should not be about religion it should be about WE THE PEOPLE, not the minority who says do it our way or go to hell. The I want mine and I don't care what it costs you is a way of life with too many these days, and is the mantra of the Obama bunch with their redistribution theories.

There thing isn't, "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." It's take from those who work hard and give it those who are too damn lazy to work at all.

This works until those who do the work decide screw it I'm not working for the do nothings any more and they then go from the I worked for mine group to the I've got my hand out group which will happen all to fast under Obama.
 
So what exactly is the difference between her (and those that believe the same thing in the US) and the Islamic fundamentalists in say Iran? nothing.

She said the United States has been "touched by God" because the nation's early leaders dedicated the country to God.

That is pretty mild. You know, when you give an emotional response like that ("terribly afraid") where you're nearly a victim of Sarah Palin because after all she is the one causing you such "distress" you risk having it reflect poorly on you rather than her.

"touched by God" because the nation's early leaders dedicated the country to God. :2wave: Read this part of the paper. When they made it IN to a SECULAR NATION and not a CHRISTIAN NATION. My thoughts are based on this quote, and does not reflect poorly on me.

And pretty vague. Granted, it's pretty worthless as it first assumes Palin's God exists (and that it cares). If we did not covet our neighbor's goods, we'd more or less destroy the concept of a market. What is godly counsel and who gets to define that?

This is a whole lot of nothing to get worked up about. Just like Waxman's FCC speech.

It looks to me as if she is suggesting the people get close to god to the benefit of the nation, not that we should be a christian theocracy. I don't like Palin, but she gives us liberals more than enough ammunition without reaching that far.

Did not find the video either, the one I found on the Billy Graham site was of her talking about her faith, and was totally innocuous and not the one being referred to here.
