New York State Senate Votes Down Gay Marriage Bill

Umm, no. But thanks for showing just how disingenuous you can be when confronted with ugly truths.
Sorry, but your little rant was irrelevant to the issue. But if you want to go ahead and make the argument that states should recognize gay marriage because heterosexuals cheat on their spouses, divorce, etc. etc. then by all means, go for it.

Besides, it was a side conversation between Disney and I that you jumped into.
Feel free to private message if you find it too threatening that other people comment on what you write in a public forum. Just click on his name, it's the second option from the top.

Next time, don't go wading into the water unless you are prepared to contend with the sharks.
Dearie, you're but a tiny little fish in my pond.

You don't know Navy? So then you are saying that you are unsure of yourself and it is possible that you could decide to become gay and be attracted to men.

I don't know about you....but I know for a fact that my sexual orientation cannot be changed.

More power to ya though.

I believe anything is possible........In my case highly unlikely..In yours very possible...........

Can we please bring it back to topic. And no, Navy is not the topic.

It's entirely on topic. It's more on topic than anything else on this thread.

Dearie, you're but a tiny little fish in my pond.

The ignore button is a wonderful thing. Buh-bye.

I believe anything is possible

It's not a belief in possibility. If you think people choose to be gay, that means you think you could choose to be gay too, period. If it's highly unlikely, then it's highly unlikely for everyone. You don't get to exempt yourself from your beliefs about human nature. You're human too.

People have chosen it.............In different threads I have cited them....You are a newbie to DP...You probably need to go back and read some of those old threads before you open your big mouth...........

I just pin you to your statements. Sorry if accountability makes you uncomfortable.

Why don't you respond to jallman He is the one that called you out? Scared of him??????:rofl

You are making some mistaken assumptions NP. Let's look at two possible types of gays. There are those who are born that way, and those who choose to be that way. This is entirely possible, might even be likely. It would explain alot. Those who choose, well they can change. Those born that way, they cannot. I do not know for sure this is the case, but I strongly suspect it, and explains alot of the confusing data on the whole subject.

I don't know they are born that way...that is what you say and your very bias as I am.....There are just as many studies that say they are not born that way as there are that says they are............In all honesty we may never know..............

I answered that already..please try and read all the posts before you open your big mouth.......Thanks

You said "highly unlikely." Is that your answer? If so, it's highly unlikely for everyone. You are human like everyone else.

So choosing to be gay is "highly unlikely." Thanks for setting the record straight.

If you may never know.....why not give them the benefit of the doubt. Why draw a line in the sand and say that they are wrong?

Whether you are born that way or not, the idea that you choose what sex you like is silly. Nobody chooses what they like. And who would choose gay anyway? Give me one good reason someone would choose to be gay.

Why should it matter anyway? You aren't born with your religion, yet we respect that in the law.

No I can't do that as most Americans can't

Well if you don't know....why take the side that discriminates?

I was brought up differently. I was taught that if you don't know...you go with the side the promotes equality and fairness.

Go back and reread what you quoted Navy. You clearly did not follow. I suggested that some gays are born that way, some make a choice. This would explain alot of the contradictory evidence. Now if that is the case, what would it do to your opinion on the subject?

I've often thought the same thing. Just a hunch, but I'd go so far as to say that the group of "choosers" would be made up of more women than men. I know at least a couple of "lesbians" from college who are now happily married soccer-moms.

Then again, are "those who choose" just bisexual?

And I am on the opinion they are not born that way.........
