Governor says no more Arkansas parolees

then why did the parole board all vote to parole the guy?

Why did the trial judge agree with parole?

Say what you want about Mike Huckabee but he had six professionals in the justice system saying parole was the right thing.
 
Arkansas must be doing something right since the guy never committed a violent felony in Arkansas.

is arkansas part of the union? did they secede again?

Arkansas governors are not responsible for events in other states.

Certainly not events that happen years after they leave office.

Dukakis program was boneheaded because it allowed MURDERERS serving life without parole out on unsupervised weekend furloughs.

The reason given for this in Massachusettes was that

"if lifers had no hope of ever getting out of prison, they would be too dangerous to ever control".

I don't get it.

Willie Horton was a convicted murderer.
Maurice Clemmons was a convicted burglar.
Yet a bunch of clowns here and elsewhere insist the situations are similar.

murderers have the lowest recitivism rate. did they let out all murderers?

Um it the arterial also mentions Clemmens, it gives three cases were Huckabee give a clemency to felons who did a terrible crime. :2wave:

must be a reason for that "formality." a governor should not just sign stuff without reading it or knowing what it's about.
 
so the governor of arkansas should not care what happens to americans outside of arkansas. four dead police officers should not matter because they are americans and not arkansasians or whatever they call themselves.
