Cop Killer was pardoned from a life sentence by Mike Huckabee 9 years ago

You mean hell ..LOL ;)

Well, yeah....

But the challenge to American remains (or anyone else who wants to take it up), and my posting history here and at PF is available for full review:

Find a post I've made ANYWHERE in which I even mention Huckabee prior to this incident.

What you will find is any number of posts in which my strong "law and order liberal" stance is shown over and over (and over) again. I'm pro-death penalty, pro-hard time, pro-Joe Arpaio's approach to incarceration (in fact, I'd take it even further than he does).

I am very much a law and order liberal. I don't like pardons and commuted sentences, but I also understand that when we elect a leader, who has that power, we have to accept he will possibly use it. I think it is a bad idea to eliminate the power, since at times it would be appropriate to use it, but you do not seem to be arguing against the power itself, but only against Huckabee using it in a couple cases. If you think people should serve their full sentences, then make that point. Making it about only Huckabee using that power makes it an attack only on Huckabee.

Will you marry me?.....:)
If you're female, that is......

senator graham says he going to help out on getting cap and trade passed.

Are you ready to go to a prosecutor and bring Huckabee up on charges? If not, I suggest you shut up about him breaking the law. You're on a Huckabee witchhunt, and that's your agenda. Not any murders, because all you talk about is Huckabee. Here's what happened, Huckabee thought the man was too harshly convicted because he was black. So does that make you a racist?

:shock::shock::shock:

WTF? When did you get all...posty.:rofl

The odd thing...he got thanked by a conservative, a centrist, and a liberal for that post.

huckabee is making all kinds of excuses. he needs to tighted up on those straps.

I'm strongly against pardons/commuted sentences (except in rare cases where the convicted person is later found/proven innocent). But, you know, this is a thread about Huckabee.... :doh

If you think people should serve their full sentences, then make that point.

I did. (Same general topic, different thread.)

Making it about only Huckabee using that power makes it an attack only on Huckabee.

Again, THIS IS A THREAD ABOUT HUCKABEE RELEASING PRISONERS BEFORE THEIR SENTENCE IS UP.

Heh! I'm female, but waaay too old - could probably be your mother!

But your objection is with the power itself. You did not need to talk just about Huckabee to make that point, and it would be entirely on topic for this thread.

This whole thread should have been moved to Bias in the Media and points awarded because the title alone is MEDIA B.S.

THERE WAS NO PARDON BY HUCKABEE AND FOR THIS TO BE ALLOWED TO REMAIN IS A TESTAMENT TO OBAMA WORSHIP.

It also qualifies as Conspiracy Theories because those who allow this go on are conspiring against Huckabee and by extension the nation as a whole.

It's funny as hell the Liberals who make up the Dim (no spell error) would attack someone for what they claim is coddling a criminal is laughable when so many of them under under investigation for criminal activities for which they would gladly accept a reduced sentence.

I noticed they said not one damn word when Clinton let a large number of convicted crooks off completely.

no pardon? do you have a link on that? does it depend on the definition of pardon?

the corporate media does not focus on repub death panels.

I noticed they said not one damn word when Clinton let a large number of convicted crooks off completely.

Since this is a discussion about Huckabee working to get felons released, it would be odd to bring Clinton into the discussion, but for the record, I was completely opposed to Clinton's pardons (and anyone/everyone else's).

EVEN PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT OBAMA ARE ARGUING THAT HUCKABEE IS NOT AT FAULT.

In fact, none of this has anything to do with Obama. You should do something about your fixation on him.

The only one worried about Huckabee is the Constitution, which he wants to rewrite to read more like the Bible.

The Raw Story | Huckabee: Amend Constitution to be in 'God's standards'

Huckabee should advocate for the The Christian Amendment that has been defeated so many times.

The Christian Amendment

We, the people of the United States, humbly acknowledging Almighty God as the source of all authority and power in civil government, the Lord Jesus Christ as the Ruler among the nations, His revealed will as the supreme law of the land, in order to constitute a Christian government, and in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquillity, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the inalienable rights and the blessings of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to ourselves and our posterity, and all the people, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
