Economy limping back to strength

since i have been posting here i have not seen any racist/nazi comments. i did see one post that was somewhat homophobic but that's it.

where did all the netnazis go?

Simply stating that we "pay the guy who is robbing me" is off base. First off, it assumes extortion. One of the positives that comes with a generous welfare system is a decreased propensity to "steal for necessities".

A starving man will steal a loaf of bread regardless of how much you pay police.

Can you imagine those area's without such a system?

I was questioned once about being a libertarian and supporting needle exchange programs. When asked why do i support government spending on heroin addicts i responded something like, "AIDS is bad"

Possibly for some. However i do not believe that someone who is content with poverty and doing nothing is going to be a productive member of society anyway. Best to keep them from stealing my ****!

I am curious as to what the percentage is of section 8 recipients who are regularly prescribed to xanax, klonopin, lithium, valum and vicodin.

Poor people don't pay taxes in America. They simply don't. How do you "cut" taxes they didn't pay? Bush actually gave rebates to people who never paid taxes to begin with!

Rich people (which is anyone making over $80,000 in Obama's eyes) pay virtually ALL the taxes in America.

Can we? I think many of the high crime rates we experience today come from a generation that watched their parents live their lives on welfare. They go through their entire childhood believing that adults can just wait on their check and it will come. When adulthood hits they realize not everyone gets a check, single males especially are discriminated against. When the checks don't come and the now adults get hungry or they want something they turn to the "easy" way out.
