No doubt the Libbos are going to spin this by saying that if they hadn't stepped in, it would be even worse. But, if the un-employment rate isn't any better than 7.5% by 2012, PBO might as well start figureing how much furniture he wants to steal on his way out of the WH, heading back to Illinois.

The unemployment rate will remain elevated for years to come, according to a forecast released Tuesday by the Federal Reserve that addresses for the first time economic conditions at the time of the next presidential election.

It paints a grim picture. Top Fed officials expect the unemployment rate to remain in the 6.8 to 7.5 percent range at the end of 2012 and said it could take "about five or six years" from now for economic activity to return to normal. The jobless rate was 10.2 percent in October.

Shouldn't you be looking in the mirror and admitting you were wrong about the stimulus? I think you blame your own faulty opinions on everyone else but yourself.

The Stimulus did nothing.
The economy is recovering because deflation lowered prices and thus, people are taking advantage of that, and spending more. The businesses now have business to carry out.
The stimulus was pathetic. Nobody saw any effect.

Keep telling yourself that....

Considering the bulk of the stimulus funds will be spent over the next two years, your evaluation is premature.

Considering that government can't spend money on our wants as well as we can, it will be a tremendous failure. It only props up industries that don't suit our needs as well as the ones that we would have spent our money on.

People steal furniture from the WH?

How was I wrong about the stealfromus bill?

Yes. The Clintons stole a buncha stuff. You know Michelle isn't leaving empty handed.

Why would she want to steal things? They're not going to have enough time to see the Entire WH.

:rofl It appears as if the only one wrong about the stimulus was the Obama Administration....Needing to inflate false numbers and all.

Considering the bulk of what has been spent has done nothing for the economy thus far....I fail to see how more of the same will do any better.

Clintons Will Return Any Gifts Found to Belong to White House - The New York Times

Former President Bill Clinton and Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton received authorization to take certain household furnishings to their new homes as gifts but will return any items that are found to be White House property, a spokesman said today.

It was a mistake, not stealing. The stuff taken was both on a list of gifts to the White House, and on the list of gifts to the Clintons. The mistake was remedied.

Oh yes, because it was just a mix up! Good thing we have a reliable news article to show us the light!

You have any evidence otherwise? Or just a snide comment with nothing to back it up?

Even Sen Levin admitted the stimulus didn't do much on Meet the Press.

I have just as many 'news articles' and 'evidence' to back it up as you do. Who knows for sure what their real intentions were? It is completely possible it was a mix up but it is also completely possible they got caught doing something naughty and thanks to some quick thinking and string pulling, including a nice little article, no further action was taken.

It could go either way is all I'm saying.

Actually, the stimulus is doing plenty. It is stealing lots of money from working men and women, and giving the money to corporate welfare loafers who ran their companies into the ground, and then wanted a handout so they don't have to work for a living.

Are you against the infrastructure (regardless of its size), unemployment extensions, and state funding aspects of the total package? If so, i am curious as to why.
