Was it genocide in Iraq with the surge?
I was hoping you'd say that. Iraq was not just about troops. General Petreaus and people like Lt. Col. Nagl virtually overhauled the entire strategy in Iraq. So much so that it's questionable if more troops were needed once the switch from seek and destroy to security went into effect. Furthermore, the tactics got many of our former enemies to switch sides.
Tell me how that is the same as Afghanistan. Are we completely switching tactics there? Have we determined a method of economic development?
Or are you going to run away from questions as you normally do?
